Hull (a) likely to be the Saturday.... 10:37 - Apr 3 with 1632 viewsITFC_Forever

As Hull are playing Weds 24th away to Cov, and then we have Cov (a) on Tues 30th....

Just a question as to whether it moves to the lunchtime or teatime slot - would prefer teatime as we seem to do better in the teatime games rather than lunchtime.

Lunchtime seems likely as Sky have a 17:30 Premier League game, unfortunately.

But League One finishes at 12.30pm - presumably Sky will be showing that.

I can't really see a slot that works, unless we play late on the Saturday. Sky are showing a Premiership match at 5.30pm (they could show both, but it doesn't seem probable). Sunday is out because there's a rugby match (on Sky) at the same stadium and we have Coventry on the Tuesday. Friday seems out as Hull are playing Coventry the Wednesday before - and that probably can't be moved to the Tuesday as Coventry have the FA Cup semi-final on the Sunday before.

Very good shout - maybe they go very late Saturday (8pm)?

Seems the most likely option, but I could also see Sky not picking us at all. They'll have League One and, mathematically, Leeds and Leicester are probably more likely to have a chance of sealing (or getting close to) promotion that day as they'll only have one match left each, whereas we'll have two.

Or maybe they’ll choose PNE v Leicester, or QPR v Leeds instead. Don’t think they can show them all, can they?

I'd be surprised if it wasn't QPR vs Leeds.

The Leeds game could be the Friday night though. It is only our game that has to be Saturday. Leicester would need to be Sat or Sunday. So the could go with Leeds Friday, us Saturday and Leicester Sunday. There are often clashes with a prem game and a champ game at 5:30 on a Saturday. Get your hotel booked now!

Either way we will know by Friday at the latest.

Aren't the lunchtime games usually Prem game on TNT, and Champ on Sky?

Then the teatime game is Sky?

At the moment, West Ham v Liverpool is on TNT at lunchtime, Everton v Brentford is on Sky at teatime and Aston Villa v Chelsea is on TNT in the evening, so we could be lunchtime (most likely) or evening, especially as our game has to be on Saturday.

Doesn’t League one finish at lunch time that Saturday?

Sky might want to put a game on from League one in the 12.30 slot

No, you're right it does - missed that in my summary!

So it will have to be 3pm (not on tv), 5.30 (against the Prem game on Sky) or 7.45 / 8 (against the Prem game on TNT).
