Sensible non Gatwick parking advice needed.

Due to an Achilles issue I am on crutches, I therefore need to park as close to the ground as possible on Saturday as I can’t walk / hobble far. My season ticket is in the West stand and normally I park Crown Pools and walk but that’s not an option Saturday. I recall there being a multi storey on Constantine Road, is that open match days and what sort of time realistically would I need to get there to ensure a spot? Alternatively what sort of time would I need to be at the Portman Rd car parks?

Weusually park (after usually 243-mile drive) in the Station Yard Car Par.k. It takes us 10-15 nins to walk to our Cobbold A turnstile.

When I've taken my octogenarian father to games I've parked on Portman Road, plenty of spaces before 1pm, and if you're West Stand then kill time in fanzone.

Think that car park is council staff only.

If you don't mind the queue to get out, then Portman Road will be the best option - come down PR from Handford Road or enter the car park from the other side near Axa (Friars Bridge Road).

If you get there at a reasonably early time, you will get a space, and as others have said, you can always kill some time in the Fanzone.

You can park on Constantine Road. It’s quite pricy, but extremely convenient. No need to book ahead, just turn up on the day - there’s nearly always a space. The council will send the bill directly to you in the post. No messing around with machines or parking apps. The money goes to local community projects, so a worthwhile cause.

I think they charge £35 if you pay them within two weeks.

Ring the club and speak to disability guy. The club arrange free parking in the Constantine Road car park for wheelchair users seated in disabled areas.

Not saying they will be able to help but worth a phone call.

I always park in Portman Walk, just off Sir Alf Way

Very pleasant fella called Mike will allow you to park in his second hand car lot, I think it was £8 last season

Very close, barely a few moments walk

Give him a bell, 07470 822 575

And he sold the car while you were at the game!

Just kidding, I have also parked there, very convenient.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
