I don't see them as massive. Just how they are viewed in the context of us being up there with them this year by some of their own fans and the general media.

To be fair the Southampton fans both online and offline are by large a decent bunch. Leicester mainly a few on their forums calling us forever lucky, their fans seem OK in real life. Its the Leeds and Nodge bunch that are a joke both online and in real life. | | | |

Rugby league really isn't a draw away from football. Wakefield averaged about 4,000 attendance last season. Even Leeds Rhinos barely get into five figures.

It's not something you can judge solely on attendances, it's a cultural thing; there are 11-12 Rugby League clubs on the doorstep of Leeds, Rugby League is played in schools in the area, and there will be the armchair sports fans. There are tens of thousands of people who are just going to prefer following that sport to football. | |
