We're going Ipswich to Peterborough to Leeds to Preston on the day....but be careful because Greater Anglia are on strike on the day before and the early trains might not be running.
Coming back via London and bus replacement on Sunday.

Coming back via London and bus replacement on Sunday.

Strikes were announced on Monday I think.
Should be fine to come back across country on Sunday, ideally via Birmingham, if you want to avoid bus replacement.

Thanks for that. From what I can tell Sunday should be fine for Leeds to Ipswich via Peterborough. Where are you seeing that there will be bus replacements? I'm thinking of going up Thursday night now but if getting back is likely to be problematic I may well drive. | |

If you choose to come back via London on Sunday, there's bus replacement between Newbury Park and Ingatestone.
