TWTD thoughts on these UFOs that keep getting shot down over USA 10:46 - Feb 13 with 1119 viewsgordon

What's the inside scoop? Is it aliens scoping us out? rogue helium balloons from Sue's 60th? North Korean spy gadgets?

Really odd. Unless they have been there ages and it was purely coincidence that the Chinese balloon made them take a closer look at the skies.

The octagon shape with no obvious payload comments are interesting.

Truly impaired.

Nothing to see.
Just balls from unsuccessful England World Cup penalties.
Give them time. They'll come down.

Well you'd think if a species had mastered interstellar technology, and come all the way to Earth, maybe sending a sidewinder up their tail pipe isn't the best way to say hello.

I think it was Arthur C Clarke who always said it would be akin to the conquistadors arriving in South America if aliens ever arrived on Earth, we would literally be playing out a War of the Worlds type scenario if they were remotely hostile.

I think the more remarkable thing is the US military are even discussing the possibility publicly & openly that they could be shooting down alien technology.

Even 20 years ago theyd have called anyone posing such a question as a complete crackpot. Now they can't even rule it out as a viable option.

Realistically its got to be some kind of spy drone though, some new front in non satellite imaging or electronic warfare either Russian or Chinese.

If that's the case, we should stop shooting them down.

I did a thread about a UFO I saw. UFO peeps BUFORA investigating still.

Personally, I think 90% can be explained, like my sighting might be. There's 10% that cannot. There is of course a proliferation of USOs too.

Most likely a Russian/Chinese craft spying on the US and Canada.

How about this...

The Chinese have lost something somewhere in The northern area of Continental North America, something either super hi tech or super dangerous.

They can't;
1. admit to their mistake
2. locate it via satellite
3. commit bodies to a ground search

They can, drift a balloon across the continent hoping to pick up a signal of some description, then deploy a sleeper cell to deal with it and / or decide to come clean and seek help.

My wife, who is not prone to a particularly vivid imagination for such things wondered if they were spreading some form biological weapon.

Or

As with any prankster, you gauge the reaction to your first prank, and if it tickles you then you mercilessly repeat the prank until the victim suffers a nervous breakdown.

I think there was a defector in the balloon. He didnt do a "Crazy Won-Hoe" on the half hour so the Americans didnt know it was his intention to defect. So they shot him down thinking it was intention to attack the US.

It's probably that some old moonshiner has had the top of his still blown off and the military have panicked and shot it down.
