I appreciate what a player Chaplin is in this team on his day.. but on current form there is no way he should be in over Edwards. Maybe others see it differently, but the last few games Chaplins been average at best for me.

They'll both get good minutes today, as usual. Very much a squad game this season, starters and finishers, a la Eddie Jones.

Agreed. Tough on Ladapo too, two goals Tuesday and back on bench today.

I absolutely love Chappers but would have gone Edwards today. As well as Ladapo for Jules. Would be nice for our number 9 to get in his stride.

In KM we trust though.

I disagree, it's all about the bench and that 70 minute change, Edwards coming on fresh with pace is a big asset..

I think all the pace in on the bench to come on for the last 30 minutes if required

How great is it to have these problems for the first time in years. 2 good players in lots of positions.

I dont think Chaplins been on it for half a dozen games so would definitely feel Edwards is worth his chance. Jackson had a fantastic couple of games and then got dropped so it is difficult. I know that you need to keep everyone happy but when they hit good form you need to give them a bit of consistent game time imo.

I think McKenna has this league sussed, you can’t stick to a single strategy/team.. maybe in the championship you might see him play a settled 11… but every game in this league is so different.. I think you have to mix it up..

Been saying this for weeks. His forward passing is killing our attacks.

He has played quite well today but still missed a lot of easy passes

No scapegoating going on at all. Simply pointing out a player who's been lacking in form lately. I would personally have started Edwards as he's looked more dangerous of late.

I think that sums up the part of the team. You play the dangerous, in form players over those out of form.
