Crowd trouble 00:08 - Oct 5 with 2588 viewsmjw_1983

Anyone see any tonight? Seemed a lot of police activity on the bridge to the railway which was strange as thought there were no trains?!
Seemed to have a few arrested and also caring for someone with injuries.

When we walked over the bridge an hour after the game finished, there was a couple of police officers looking after someone who was hurt / not well.

The person in question was someone in their 50s / 60s who was wearing a Town coat, and didn’t look like someone who would have been involved in any trouble, unless they were caught in the crossfire.

I think the police had taken a decision to close the roads but I don't think there was actually any trouble. A few of our fans walking up towards the station singing "Cambridge get battered" very loudly but nothing more that I saw.

Part of the exit from the Sir Alf stand was cordoned off as the full time whistle went. Police van there at the gates and paramedics bringing a stretcher to someone injured on the floor. I assumed someone had got battered with all those Cambridge fans leaving early. They really thought they were going to come and stifle us like last year and seemed pretty pi**ed when we got around their parked bus!

There were as many police in the ground on Saturday as there were last night.

Yes, that's the one - didn't particularly look like it was related to any disorder.

Yep, the old bill were in there with the pompey fans on saturday. Looks like Ashton is happy to pay their bill for these games.
