Near the ground the Brooklands is good for away fans. Lots of pubs in the town, the Shrewsbury Hotel and Montgomery’s Tower are both Weatherspoons and the Armory by Welsh Bridge. You will need a taxi from there though. A few pubs on Belle View Rd, 30 mins walk from ground are more geared up for home fans though. |  |

Anyone beering in Shewsbury prematch, it may be unwise to rely on taxis to get you to the game. As early as 10pm tonight, I was quoted at least an hour by every firm the pub staff could think of.
The 90 min walk was aided by me having enjoyed a lot of fab beers.... | | | |
