Surely "The Wild Thing" should be more prominent in the list of names for a nex t manager? 9 years at the same club suggests he must be popular with both owners and supporters, and also has League One promotion on his CV. Not even on the bookies radar as far as i can see.

Pound for pound he's done an outstanding job at Wycombe.

But the club invested heavily in a style of player and to go for Ainsworth would mean ripping up those players and starting again.

We have to appoint a manager or coach with a similar style of play rather than starting again each time.
