Especially with all the smoke drifting across the training ground.

There is no short term fix. This season is, like the last one, a write off, largely because we have a totally incompetent manager.

Hopefully some of the available and touted names will already have been studying the videos, perhaps even including that little short one taken just outside the actual training ground, I believe.

It is going to take some tough decisions.

The bonus is the new man should be able to pick out 15-20 players to work with. The headache is how to deal with the rest of them.

A new manager will do the same as any new manager does. Doing good homework and working with what he has. He will have a rough idea what he has to work is.

If he wants to trim the squad, at least with the nature of player's contracts these days, a lot of these will be running out soon anyway. It's only managers that seem to get long term contracts!
