The 3 police cars who've passed me this week seemed to have no problems. Appreciate your concern but I'll take my advice from them if that's ok.

I was disappointed the other day when queueing in a socially distanced way outside the supermarket to see one of Suffolk's Finest use his uniform to push in to go and buy a sandwich.

Disappointed, but not surprised.

If you set out for exercise, but divert into the village shop and buy a piece of cheese, can you convert your 'exercise' into 'shopping' and therefore go out again for the actual exercise?

If there wasnt a queue the length of the car park at my local co-op :-(

Should check wether you should be on long bike rides at all. If the lanes and roads are clogged up this weekend then this lockdown will bite even harder.

Don't worry R2, the lanes are not 'clogged up'.

I went for my daily Boris approved walk earlier and there were both a lot more people walking and cycling than I would normally see, but they were still a long way apart, we are talking 5 or 6 cyclists in an hour when I would normally see 1 or 2.

This is one of the positive affects of the lockdown, more people are appreciating the simple pleasures of being out in the countryside and giving their immune systems a welcome boost at the same time.

Might be a different stories in th towns and cities, but out here in the sticks there is plenty of room.

I live at the top of The Bronx, so I can easily cycle out to Copdock/Washbrook/Sproughton in a couple of minutes and be in the countryside thus away from people.

Yesterday, I bumped into absolutely nobody on my 1.5hr Holiday Inn>Copdock>Capel>Bentley>A137>Belstead>home ride.

Shocking headwind on the homeward part and the knees are achy this morning.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.
