Positives about the game: on 22:10 - Jan 4 by The_Last_Baron
Under Evans we are dying a death by 1000 cuts.
Nothing positive about losing away to Exeter Reserves.
I was chatting to some Exeter fans afterwards and they said it was about three-quarters first teamers. Even the youth were their up-and-comers.
That doesn't really make it any better that we were unable to beat a League Two side (depite applying quite a lot of pressure in the second half). But there's no necessity to make things worse than they already are. Plus the players I mentioned had good games - something which may become important in the League over the rest of the season.
...and more game time for Sears on the road back from injury. Same applies to some extent to Keane and even Dozzell.
All the angst is justified to some extent, but we should ask ourselves do we really want to nurture another toxic atmosphere after a few months of disappointment, or grit our teeth and help the lads kick on again from what is still a decent league position.

Bishop and Sears both really needed the game time and both were impressive. Keane took his goal really well. But we cannot defend our own 6-yard box. Grr. Second half we were actually quite good. El Miz is going to be a real player.
