EFL & debt 08:45 - Dec 13 with 607 viewsNo9

Yesterday R5 live not being able to broadcast political propaganda had the best thing they have done for a very long while in highlighting the problems with EFL foootball, clubs & debt
Estimated more than £300 Mn debt by EFL clubs = a LOT of dosh but considering Manu are potentially going to spend more thna 1/2 that on 2 players it demonstrates how financially distorted English football has become
- You can get it on catch up

This follows the review & investogation into the same subject by the Commons selectCommittee

Trouble is, it'll take a LOT of clubs with it. And it'll probably not be the ones responsible for inflating the bubble.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Maybe just one or two (in the way that Bury went but Bolton were saved), there was a piece on the BBC website yesterday too:

The real issue is just how many clubs are close to the wire.
The Chair of the Commons ~Select Committe says the EFl should recompense Bury season ticket holders & sponsors for their losses questioning whether or not the EFL did the necessary due diligence on the many who bought Bury for a quid
