I've been accused today on here today of being a NCFC supporter, being a newbie on the site, being a liar! Just for the record I've seen ITFC play at least 20 times per season since 1964! I've been regularly on TWTD for many years and today an ex EADT sports reporter/writer told me about Crouch and Allen! I thought it was of interest so posted on here, why cant some of you see it for what it is...…. a discussion item. Its a public forum, Its a public football forum, rhetoric and banter is part and parcel of that- and as you've been on here over the years, surely you know soooooo much guff come out of people who are 'in the know' and often do tend to be budgies on the wind up.
So, my advice is to have a stiff upper lip and appreciate this for what it is, a public forum- where we should be allowed to discuss things, have fun and a joke, air our grievances, and in some cases take a break from playing keys in the punch bowl at the family Christmas party- and not be told to butt out, of anything. I mean, it's an unpleasant word in some contexts, and I don't like to see it used as bit of Micky taking either to be honest, but it's also a TWTD in joke that goes back years. Phil seems to ignore it in certain contexts (presuming he's seen it the few times it's been used on here lately). I will say in Phil's defense, if people don't report posts they think they are offensive, then what is he supposed to do about it? He's not trawling the board all day like us losers.
