Not quite the same, but as I was driving in to work this morning I happen to notice a rather large amount of people wearing gloves whilst driving (mostly men), and like yourself, I thought 'wrong un's' as well. I appreciate it's cold now, but gloves to drive in?

Driving gloves did use to be a thing back in the days of goggles and those honky horns. Not sure why modern drivers who have AC would need them, unless of course they're Partridge, in which case it's just to give that little extra purchase. |  |

I have a pair of black leather gloves I bought from M&S around 4 years ago and they come out every year - swear by them.
They are great at keeping my hands warm and make me feel like I'm going to commit some sort of crime (I'm often just going to the shops). |  |
