Moved from a Wednesday in mid-November. No particular reason for why it's been moved to a Monday either.

Seems to fit in with the rumours of a November snap election; budget on the Monday, a few days for the analysis to hit home (especially given talk of funding increases for the NHS) followed by an election on 1st November.

Why would there be a snap election?Makes not a shred of sense.

It doesn't work like that . Parliament dissolved a week after a vote to hold an election this allows time to tidy up business. Polling day would be 5--6 weeks later. Poor effort.
