Shrewsbury Town 2-0 on Charlton on agg. Looks certain they are going to Wembley. My conclusion is made. I am now 100% Paul Hurst over Jack Ross. Shrewsbury Town are such an efficient team. Quick and efficient, magician with his resources and does it the right way. This year is his 7th play off in 10 years. Only making one step up in the English game instead of coming from Scotland second division. Paul Hurst for me.

How many of them play offs has he won?

If Shrewsbury go up then he might be more inclined to stay put.

If they did win promotion and he left them for us, I think I would be a little disappointed in him as a man.

Why?

Presumably the same goes for Ross then?

I wonder if this may force Evans’ hand with regards to appointing Ross now? If he impresses in what will (allegedly) be his second interview, he may go for him knowing he might not even get the chance to speak to Hurst until early June, and if Shrewsbury win the final, he may not even want to come here.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Oh I don't know perhaps loyalty, I am probably wrong, who could blame them, manage Ipswich? What a chance in life.

Not sure I want to wait for Hurst and maybe he wouldn’t come and by then Ross may think no real commitment and we end up with neither. Also would like to see the new manager have as much time to get the team ready for next season. So make an offer for Ross for me.

I would be happy with either but I do think that the deal , with whoever, needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Why would he owe them any more loyalty if he gets them promoted?

Shrewsbury to Ipswich is a massive step up in every way, regardless of how they get on at Wembley.

I beg your pardon? I have just said that I may be a little disappointed in a manager leaving a club that he gains promotion with because of loyalty, I have followed that with I'm probably wrong due to the fact, that to manage Ipwich Town is a chance not to missed, your judgement of me is as accurate as your judgement of a boxer.

Fopdoodle.

Would I think be happy with either but hurst with Grimsby took a while for success in the conference and the football was a bit agricultural let’s say. Haven’t seen Shrewsbury so can’t comment on them.
