I have a cracking record on the Golf Majors. One of the only sports I’m in definite profit in.
Have had a bet for something to watch (depsite my hiatus), for a total of £17
£2.50 each way Patrick Reed 40/1
£2.50 each way Matt Kuchar 45/1
£3 win Hideki Matsuyama 28/1
£1.50 each way Charl Shwartzel 80/1 |
An excellent day 1 with Kuchar 4 Under and Reed 3 Under. My other two should make the cut and then who knows.
Matsuyama always starts slow and is 80/1 which I’ve had a small each way bet top up on. Think he may be overpriced as an each way proposition.
Kuchhhhhh and Reed Top 10 @ 16/1 and both Top 5 @ 80/1 I backed the other day too. As they’ve both started well, I ought to mention it just in case.

Thanks J2. It's nice to grab a 20-1 winner ew first day in the bank. But it really was a no-brainer,he's led after round one 2 out the last 3 masters and at 20-1 is nearly double the price he is to win the tournament! He was 5 shots clear going into the last round a couple of years ago but had a mare and that was when Willett came through to win. I really hope Willett does well this week and get's his confidence back, he's going through a tough time.

Reed leads by 3 at the 16th on day 2 for a couple of hundred. Done him in a double with a Grand National horse at 600/1 as well which would certainly make next weeks race interesting. | |

I had two points on McIlroy yesterday @ 3.65, he was two behind when I put it on. Now three behind. The odds haven't really shifted though because the market now thinks it's a two horse race.
I still have Rose playing for an E/W payout and McIlroy for the win but i'm expecting a six point loss overall.
