FerrersTractorboy added 06:25 - Sep 20 There is no confidence in the team, and none in the stands either. A lot of people arrived expecting us to lose. There is therefore an inevitability about what happened in the match. I do believe that the players are trying, but if you go out lacking belief then you are done for. Hyam must start. If we lose this lad I will not be happy. He is an intelligent player who does the simple thing when he has the ball, and is very good at breaking up the play when the opposition have it. How Jewell does not see what so many fans see I dont know. I like Martin - a grafter with good ability on the ball. He needs to start just behind the front man - something that again I think many fans at the match can see - but jewell can't. I have never been an inner or outer until now with any manager - and I went to my first game in 1969. I sense a lack of belief on the pitch, mirrored in the stands. If you believe we have the wrong manager - and I don't doubt he wants to succeed, but do doubt he can - then you have to do something which tells the owner just that. For me it has to be an organised one match mass boycott of a game at Portman Road. I would suggest the Deby County game at home - thereby giving Jewell the opportunity to sort things out. But really he has had the time already. Sad days, not Those Were The Days. dirtydingusmagee added 09:47 - Sep 20 thats it for me ...Jewell showed exactly what is wrong with ITFC now, no passion, no enthusiasm, no pride, he could even get off his fat a;se The performance off the pitch was worse than the one on it .Pocket billiards dosnt win football matches .I have said all along ,he hasnt the drive needed ,he mumbles away like drunk in post match interviews ,if i were a player in the dressing room he would bore me sh;tless.TAXI for PJ and lets get someone in with real passion and a pulse .Sorry the report on game centres around the manager ,but thats how it was . dirtydingusmagee added 09:50 - Sep 20 Greybritain added 18:30 - Sep 21 Phew. First half highlight was a corner flag falling over and the farce that ensued in righting it. Second half was the inevitable goals for Wolves. Our shooting was shocking. Confidence is low. We keep on letting players leave without replacements in place. Edwards is still not a right back. Our central defence is fragile. Our central midfield are loanees, but at least Luongo was decent. Not sure about N'daw or his rating on this site for this game. Chopra amused me by falling over and getting booked for diving, and the people in front of me left when Scotland blazed over the bar towards the end. There is a lot of wrong that has been wrong for a long time at the club. Let the kids play. I would rather they play than watch loanees. People always want to introduce them into a winning side. They will be 25 by the time that happens. I cannot hear, that for the 3rd season running we have clowned up the contract situation either. Phew.
