| News Comment | One Step Forward, One Step Back - Notes for Nottingham Forest at 11:09:44
It makes me laugh when one of them talks about being disappointed with signing Murphy and now they are surprised by how good he is. The guy has proved for around 5 years that he's a top championship striker but for some reason people never seem to get it. |
| News Comment | Kenlock Signs New Deal at 09:20:52
A to learn but has clear potential and needs game time to realise that. Perhaps could improve in the attacking sense but he get's in the positions so it's just improving once he's there. Must be ahead of JK next season. Although those saying JP should have been above Mings have obviously forgotten what a great outlet Mings was at left back for us. |
| News Comment | Patterson Set to Rejoin Braintree at 14:36:14
Also remember that this is the highest level he can be loaned out to, hopefully get some games and then play for us next year or get a loan at a higher level. |
| News Comment | Town Sign Former Trialist Spence at 16:24:22
jutever, I think that's the point. 3 at the back means chambers moves into the middle, leaving us with just Emmanuel at rb. So he signed Spence to be the backup to Emmanuel if he get's injured or needs a rest, meaning we won't have to change formation if Emmanuel was unavailable. |
| News Comment | Knudsen Still Feels the Passion of a Fan at 09:00:19
I do like Knudsen, comes across well in his interviews, but he should not be starting for us if we want to go anywhere. Kenlock looks ready and has time to improve, Knudsen is decent backup though. |
| News Comment | Blues Among Clubs Linked With Marshall at 13:18:02
We need a winger though. After Ward and Lawrence we only have Sears who as we all know isn't a winger. Ward is inconsistent and were struggling to score so a winger would definitely help. Winger, Striker and cm although I doubt we'd get them all. |
| News Comment | Berra Expecting Close Game at 09:31:13
'Teams don't look forward to coming to Portman road' not being funny but we must be one of the easiest teams to play against away. Were so predictable and one dimensional, hoping Saturday can be the start of something but I fear this season will fizzle out into mediocrity. |

| News Comment | Knudsen Fit to Face Owls at 15:22:23
Not too disappointed with this. I like Kenlock and he definitely could mature into a better than Knudsen but for now Knudsen has done enough to be in the first team.... Still think Emmanuel should be in for Chambers though, wasted having a young talent like him on the bench. |
| News Comment | McGoldrick in Ireland Squad at 10:02:50
Pleased for him, but for selfish reasons I'd rather him have the few weeks off and avoid injury. |
| News Comment | We’re a Team That Works Together - Notes for Burton at 11:56:56
I really hope Burton do well this season. It's refreshing to see a team that is genuinely just happy to be in the league rather than the Brentford and Bournemouth fans who came up with an 'entitled' attitude. Good luck to them, other than tomorrow of course! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Webster Will Play in the Premier League at 11:07:59
So Mick the guy that signed this guy for double the amount he has paid for any other player cannot be praised because he dropped him? It was clear to see Webster made a few mistakes in the first few games (Penalty at wolves, His man against Brentford, Poor clearance vs scum) therefore Mick gave tommy a go, which in turn got us 3 points. Then Webster get's his place and performs great and now he's won his place in the team. It's all about competition and Mick should be praised very highly for this because he signed a player that could rise from 700k up to potentially 8 mil + |
| News Comment | Best and Varney Set to Feature for U23s at 14:45:24
I think part of the reason varney and best were so effective was because of the time in the game they came on, lot of energy and two big hard working guys against tired legs and they couldn't handle it, would they have the same effect if they were brought on 10 minutes earlier? who knows. Varney has been pleasantly surprising, looks like much more of a handful and winning a few free kicks when he came on Saturday as well perhaps he could have more of an impact than we first thought. |
| News Comment | Ex-Carlisle and Tottenham Full-Back on Trial at 13:33:49
If he is brought in as backup to Chambo allowing Emmanuel to go on loan in January as MarcusEvansReborn said, then this would be a very good move. Emmanuel looked like he had a lot of potential when I saw him play last season so he needs games. Then on the flip side we would have signed a young full back who could also potentially turn into a decent player. Chambers is 30 so probably only has 3-4 years left in the first team and hopefully with a few loans Emmanuel would be ready by then. |
