i think taylor will be more resistant because he is on a decent weekly wage, and i think he will be happy to see the remainder out. Shame because it would be best for both parties to move as were not exactly rolling in it! |

He should start saturday as he can do the unexpected and it something we need at the mo cause we look like scoring but no end product. Yorksblue Martin Dropped?? u see the wolves game, his work rate was very good, tracked back and helped out edwards, JET wouldnt do that all the time. Martin looked dangerous on the attack as well but no goalscoring instincts!! Keep him in the team till Christmas if contract situation unresolved then sell. |

Watching on from last night performance we need a striker to partner chopra/taylor with a bit of strength up there. Wickham is what we need! He will be hungry as sitting on the bench does nothing for confidence!! Agreed its not looking good at the mo, especially missing those chances last night some don't know how, Murphy on the rebound 6 yards out, putting it wide, and then the own goal summed it up!!! But Wolves didn't roll us over, we competed well last night, just silly errors and no killer instinct!! Surely last night shows we need to sign three players to give more competition to players as when we went a goal down, they didn't seem to be bothered to force the game onto there opponents and get an equalizer? |

It looks like town and are fans need to lower our expectations, we obviously are not willing to pay decent wages to sign average championship players, but willing to pay 2million of transfer fee? Surely they must realise that these players are gonna want at least above average wages to sign for a club in the same league? I think we should start looking at lower level players with potential as boyd and taylor came from lower league teams and pay small fee and wages we can afford. The question i cant get my head round is why are they so out of loop when it comes to knowing what players at chamionship level want? i bet these are average wages as well and they could get more and another club? |

Average championship players at best! Although if Town wanted him desperately they should have paid the money, you dont get good players for cheap these days! hopefully these other targets are better and affordable otherwise we gonna be thin on the ground when injuries/suspensions occur, How long can you go on saying there too expensive if you havent got a team?? |

I can understand what Jewell is doing getting rid off the deadwood and high earnings. But if ur not replacing them with anyone then the players you have just let go were actually good squad players!! If Bullard was on £15K a week why cant we get two good players on £7.5 a week who will offer much more to the team than bullard would have??? if we cant afford to offer decent salaries then we need to look at talent in the lower leagues who want a chance to make it big. |

let him go for 3.5m with add on like another 2m for appearances made a good profit on him. But only let him go if the money sold for was made available fro transfers otherwise we are weakening the team and will only have a negative effect on the overall morale and position we could finish. They must be good players like Cresswell in league 1 or 2, whos got the ability similar to him at a relatively cheap price??? |
