I felt scammed by this unfair annual subscription!
This game is not on Skybet live and yet International subscribers can’t watch the game again? This is utterly unfair!
If at the beginning of the season I know that I can only watch half the amount of games, and also at the last minute, I could have taken different decisions.
This is unjust. The people behind the marketing team should refund a portion of the subscription fee to International subscribers like me!
After 14hrs of flight from Singapore and another 4.5hrs of coach from Heathrow airport (no trains operating) to Ipswich, we arrived Ipswich on Xmas Day, finally got to witness a live game (yes! Live at Portman Road and not just iFollow) in front of a packed stadium with a handsome 3-0 win.
Brought family along to UK just to experience this Boxing Day game!
Staying just 3 days at Ipswich and dread the return itinerary back to Singapore 😰, but the memories overwhelmed as I manage to take pictures with John Wark, George Edmundson and Conor Chaplin! 😎
Hope the good form continues and the promotion year back to Championship next season! 🥳
“International viewers All League One and EFL Trophy matches whether home and away, weekend or midweek are eligible for international streaming with the exception of any game shown live in the UK on Sky Sports or via an international broadcaster.”
I've been with iFollow for the past few yrs, they should allow ALL games to be streamed for international viewers as it takes extra effort just to support Town (a 3pm game = 10/11pm game due time difference). More challenging for midweek games (a 8pm game = 3/4am game)
There is no audio commentary, even though I chose 'on' in the selection panel.
I can hear the background fans with the 'ohs' and 'ahs' whenever a goal-scoring chance goes abegging, but this audio is about 3 seconds behind the video, which sounds weird
Yes you are absolutely spot on, perhaps the cameraman is a part-timer without proper training. Many times the top of the screen is fixed on the roof shelter of the stadium gallery stand. Zooming during corner kicks were bad too.
I'm from Singapore and the local cable tv provider stopped showing EFL games completely when the season started.
So I started the iFollow 'season pass' subscription from the Fulham match onwards and unfortunately both games ended in defeats 😫
It has been pretty frustrating thus far: - no audio commentary - gets booted out quite frequently, say about once in 10-15 mins. A lot of disruption as I had to re-login to the app and launch live video streaming - a few occasions, the app failed to recognise that I am already a 'season pass' holder, so I was rejected access. Had to close the app and re-login again, and PRAY that it works!
I am not sure if this is due to geographical location. Perhaps you have better luck from your country of residence! Best of luck!
Heard about a new streaming service next year - iFollow - which allows overseas supporters (like me!) to catch live coverage of teams outside EPL for a fee of about Singapore Dollars 200 a year. Worth the money as currently ipswich is only featured in about 6 games a year (out of 46 games a season) thru cable tv.
The live game wil be shown on E Sports Channel 109 here in Singapore at 7pm.
Will be watching from home cable tv, and trying to get my 2 boys - aged 10 & 5 - to watch too. This is about grooming the next generation of ITFC supporters!
I won't mind for an ugly scrappy boring 1-0 win. Up the town!
Good news as I am from Singapore. I've been a town fan for more than 2 decades.
Despite paying more for my cable tv package (basic package covers EPL games only, add-on needed for championship games), they only cover about 2 to 3 championship live games per week. It is rare for them to show live Ipswich games, so I'm pretty happy about it.
I normally do not comment and I know there are many who have decided not to attend the home games this season. Fair statement due to the boring negative Football on display.
But for someone living so far away, it's such a pity. I would have attended the home games with my 2 boys if I live in England!
Thanks for the effort, but obviously your best means last on the league table after a quarter of the season gone. Thats very poor. NThe next manager can only bring us up the table
Mr Clegg, tipping point long overdue for you. Why haven't you walk?!?!??!? That's the last change needed before this club can move forward. Please do the right thing and leave like PJ (a gentleman). Thank you!!!
