Wallingford Boy- No he is much better, 14 goals and 21 assists from midfield in League 1 (Gillingham are 2nd). he is far superior to Roofe...... |

Surco72- Funny because half of the players on your list have hardly played at all this season, or last season either? Sidwell (1) Robinson (0) Williams (0) Graham (10, all from Bench) Kermorgant (0) Sola (2) Agree we need to strengthen with better players, but if you make an argument at least get your facts right....... |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Pompey Deserved to Win at 08:38:54
Lets be honest, every fan who went last night knew exactly what team Mick was going to put out. We were never going to play a full strength team, if the quality of our team put out in an Fa Cup 3rd round replay, a few days before a massive game against Birmingham, was that disappointing to you then you shouldn't have bothered going!! Unfortunately when you are going for promotion, the Fa Cup and other competitions aren't as important, they maybe should be, but they aren't. A win Saturday and everyone will be happy and calling Mick a genius, if we lose Saturday then questions will be asked by a certain few clueless fans we have. But I for one wont be asking them questions......In Mick We Trust! |
| News Comment | Town Taking Care With Bishop's Recovery at 10:52:17
Will be challenging to pick a starting XI once all our players come back, could go with any of the following really: Gerken, Chambers, Smith, Berra, knudsen, Skuse, Douglas, Bishop, Sear, Murphy, Fraser (4-3-3) or, Gerken, Chambers, Smith, Berra, knudsen, Skuse, Bishop, Fraser, Sears, Pitman, Murphy (4-4-2) Both these teams don't even include Bru, AMN, Oar or McGoldrick! With all players are fully fit we certainly do have one of the most talented squads in the division, and we haven't been able to say that for many a year..... |
| News Comment | McGoldrick Still Out But Fraser Closing in on Return at 15:38:27
Think the issue is the type of injury he has, shin splints i believe and a persistent hamstring problem are dangerous to young players! Rush him back to soon and it could be the last we see of him full stop, look at other youngsters pushed too early who missed out on the best years of their careers? Dyer and Owen for example..... Best that we leave our physio's etc to do what they are doing. They are the professionals after all!! |
| News Comment | Rotherham Keen to Sign Hyam on Loan at 17:01:23
MVBlue- just had a look through that Vardy piece you put on this thread. Incredible looking at some of the comments on how it would be crazy spending £1 million pound on a 25 year old who had no football league experience. I imagine some of them poster may cringe a little if they look back at their comments of 3 years ago.....although who back then would have imagined his incredible rise to the top of the Premier League scoring charts?! |
| News Comment | Hyam Could Go Out on Loan at 15:36:02
Waffleman- Under 21's is not the way to get a player fit unfortunately, needs to get the bumps and bruises you get from playing league football to get back to his best! a month on loan in League one will be perfect imo. Chiddley- as for Douglas, he hadnt been out injured for the best part of a year had he, so was easier for him to get match fitness by playing for us......... some people on here are so clueless!!! |
