Bolton Wanderers 0-5 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Northstandveteran voting me up - what an eejit. I've got loads of down votes tosspot, mostly from Budgies. Do you think I give a monkeys?

Fact is we're top of the league and all you Norwich weirdos have got to look forward to is beating the likes of Southampton and Brighton. Suck on that!!!!

You see this is what I don't get ITFCsince73/TimmyH/Northstandveteran, you hang around on the main Ipswich Town message board even though you support a team that has reached the promised land of the Premier League.

Now it's obvious Norwich are going to struggle especially if Pucky gets injured, but nevertheless Farke has done has done well to get them to that level.

But why hang around on an Ipswich Town message board? Town supporters don't go on the Pink Un or Wrath of the Barclays pretending to support you lot so why hang around here? Is it because we've won stuff like the League, the FA Cup and the EUFA Cup and you've won the diddy League Cup and you're just jealous? Because it seems like it to me.

ITFCsince 1973, Northstandveteran and TimmyH all agreeing with each other: Sad sacks. Obviously Budgies and probably the same person.

Of course dirtydingusmagee, warktheline and cat are Budgie halfwits but they're as thick as two short planks and too stupid to criticise Town at this point without giving themselves away.

It's great : Norwich get stuffed at home and get prepared for relegation back to at least their level and Town are top of the table!

Ipswich Town 1-1 Sunderland - Match Report
at 20:40:28

@prebsa an all your other user names 4-1 ya Budgie loser suck on that!

I got myself a season ticket to watch the Town, for the first time in over twenty years, and I really enjoyed it today. Town should have won it, no question about it, and they would have done if it wasn't for Chambers' schoolboy error but hey ho. Luke had played excellently up to that point and must be feeling very upset tonight.

The fierce, swirling wind made life difficult for both sides (as well as the referee and his assistants) especially in the first half but Town used it to much better advantage than Sunderland and scored one and, in my opinion, the challenge on Jackson should have resulted in a penalty. Having said that I thought that a stricter referee could have given a penalty against Kenlock when their wide man ( maybe O'Nien) knocked the ball round him and ran the other side and Myles pulled him back.

The second half was much more even but, apart from Chambers' dreadful error Sunderland never really looked like scoring.

I have to say that the singing from the North Stand, upper and lower, was brilliant and in the second half absolutely electrifying and even behind me in the Portman Stand people were joining in. My season ticket is costing me less than £14 per game but you can't buy that level of atmosphere.

BlueMachines, after five games logically the teams at the top will have won more games than those at the bottom. I would have thought even you could understand that. Or are you saying that the only reason that the bottom teams at present are in their positions is because of the quality of the opposition? The Budgies' trouncing by Millwall suggests otherwise - Millwall the team that Town put to the sword the other week.

Err Lower North, the only reason that they were lowly opposition is because Town beat them. With only four games played before today you'd hardly expect those teams to be up the top because that's how mathematics works.

It looks like Norwich are going to walk the Possession League this season with another 72% today. Unfortunately we don't have one of those in this country and instead Farke's Deutchsland dummkopfs shipped another four against the mighty Millwall. Oh well, the Elm Hillbillies must be salivating at the thought of potentially playing the likes of Stevenage and Accrington Stanley next season.

Town Chasing Record-Breaking Five Out of Five Start Against Fulham

I don't expect Town to win every game; sooner or later they're going to lose. Then the usual suspects will come out of the woodwork, apart from the usual Budgie pretendy halfwits. Talking of which, what's happened to blueboy1981? I'm really worried about him. I thought about sending out a search party then I realised that he doesn't live anywhere near Ipswich so that would be a waste of time.

I'm pleased that Town are in the Suffolk Premier Cup again. They should be in it every season to help support county football. I must say though that if Town got through to the later stages it would be nice for the other teams to have the prospect of playing at Portman Road, fixtures permitting.

Let's face it, unless you reach the semis, it's a Micky Mouse competition for micky mouse teams. Nobody with any sense takes it seriously.

I understand that our friends from up the A140 won it a couple times so to them it's the big time. They have to have something to put in their trophy cabinet apart from the Norfolk Senior Cup

McCarthy Hails Magnificent Front Five
at 00:43:21

That's an interesting comment right at the end there from Millwall's manager Neil Harris: 'It's a really poor goal to give away against a non-physical Ipswich side.' I was under the impression that opposition managers have always considered McCarthy's Ipswich sides to be physical if not necessarily skillful. Perhaps Harris was just wound up when he said it.

@pinewoodblueboy. Well. I've been through you're posting history on the forum where you mostly hang out, and you have posted virtually nothing about Ipswich - plenty of political stuff from a right wing perspective - and the very few posts about Town going back to last Christmas have all been critical so despite the fact that you claim that you've been supporting the team for the last forty years or so I'm dubious as to whether you're actually telling the truth. Sorry pal but I don't take criticism seriously from people like you.

Eventually Town will lose and you, budgieboy1981, cat, warktheline or whatever his name his and the Diss eejit will get your revenge. In the mean time suck on it pal. I'm loving the fact that you lot hate every minute of Town's brilliant start.

budgieboy1981 criticising me before I've even posted..I love it. What a loser.

I don't want to mention 'cat' who obviously has problems working out how teams win. Just for your information pal it comes down to scoring more than the opposition not having 71% of possession like a certain team did against Sunderland and letting in three.

Dear oh dear warktheline the loser who thinks putting words in capitals means something. Unfortunately as a supporter of a team that are fifth bottom of the second division as opposed to a team -Ipswich Town who are fourth - the poor boy fails to realise that his beloved team could be playing Forest Green Rovers next season especially taking into accont the amount of European idiots that the duffer Farke has signed.
