Blues Visit Bristol Rovers at Start of Run Against Teams in Bottom Half
at 13:48:31

HopefulBlue69, I think you need to change your name to 'hopingforaplayofffinal69'! 16 games to go and you think KM should be preparing the payers for the playoffs?? Unreal, until its mathematically impossible, which wont be for some games to come, we have to believe and more importantly the players will be believing we can still go up automatically. Actually change your name to "letsgiveupnow69!!". Come on you blues, most of us will keep believing until its impossible.

Cook Set to Meet Players as Big Name Departures Expected
at 13:35:07

Norwoods an interesting one for me, agreed we need a 20 plus striker next season to be able to compete where we want to be but he's managed 10 from only 19 starts with lets face it, almost nil service / creativity. I know there's a massive question over his fitness but under the new regime I'd like to see what he can do with treatment and then a pre-season under his belt (plus he's still under contract!). Be good to see a quality striker in to give him competition for the starting shirt 'cos that isn't Jackson, Drinan or Hawkins (Grigg maybe?)

Downes: We Should Be Winning Games Like This Easily, It's Not Good Enough
at 11:20:21

Flynn in my opinion is the only player out there at the moment with the quality we need to improve things going forward and i just hope with the changes off the pitch that we can keep him. Norwood works hard but commits too many soft fouls and just hasn't got the consistency (or the fitness) we need. Our defence was a disorganised mess last night, no heart / fight / bravery to get to the ball first for crosses, it could have been 5 or 6. Woolfy seems completely out of form and I just don't understand those who think Chambers can't do any wrong, last night was a perfect case for him as Captain to show some fight, get things organised and lead by example, instead his head physically dropped and he carried on making basic errors. Not good enough yet again. Didn't understand the changes PC made but looked like desperation to me to try and get something out of the game, the changes lost any momentum we may have had at that time but don't blame him for trying anything. our players are simply not good enough and roll on the summer for a proper clear out with an experienced well funded management team in place. No doubt I will still be paying my £10 foryet another 2 hours of utter frustration on Saturday but COYB.

Ipswich Town 0-0 MK Dons - Match Report
at 10:27:30

What a bad decision from PC not to take these 2 press conferences, of course the fans want to hear from him particularly after the take over he is now in danger of undoing some of the positivity the new ownership created on Wednesday. Just by cancelling the pre match conference and then sending Matt Gill out for the post match has us fans speculating and probably putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 when all this could have easily been avoided, bit naive to be honest. As for fans calling for his head already is quite unbelievable. As much as my heart would love to see us promoted this year my head is telling me we need another season in this awful league to properly re-build and get some momentum and positivity under the new management and ownership.

Chambers: We Have to Play With Freedom
at 13:38:15

When the players actually start turning the talk off the pitch into action on it then comments like these will become relevant again, unfortunately this is just noise, telling the fans what they think we want to hear, take a lead from your manager, less talk more action.

Chambers: Absolutely I Want to Stay, My Ambition For the Club is Unchanged
at 12:53:06

DifferentGravy, no marking down from me, I think you're absolutely spot on, For the past few seasons we have needed our captain and senior players to lead from the front on the pitch, motivate, kick up the backside, organise our defence, not just fist pump and play to the crowd when we've managed to scrape a win. The amount of mistakes he continues to make is astounding, he rarely stops crosses coming in, is far to slow and loses his man all too often. Sorry, maybe a great servant to the club but also a well paid one and has made a good living from ITFC over the past 10 years or so, so lets not be too sentimental, what have we actually achieved in that 10 years, very very little. Thanks Luke, but if we are to improve and enjoy a different playing culture at this club, our captain has to change too.

Ipswich Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers - Match Report
at 17:59:57

Why is it we seem incapable of getting a decent shot away from anywhere near the box, anytime we do it seems to be scuffed and dribble to the keeper to make an easy save or harmlessly wide, assume it must be confidence but I would've thought professional footballers who do nothing else should at least be able to get a decent shot on target, every other team seems to be able to do it!

Ipswich Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers - Match Report
at 17:19:07

Relieved to get 3 points from that, if it hadn't been for a freak goal in the first minute and a lucky deflection (which Judge took well to be fair) ,we would have got nothing out of a must win match. We managed to let a team second bottom look more confident and outplay us when they were 2 down after 10 minutes, utterly inept performance. Woolfenden looked very nervy, Chambers another poor performance, created nothing through midfield, particularly Dozzell who is so poor and the strikers given nothing but scraps yet again. How we are still in with a shout of the pay offs is a mystery, but we are so roll on Monday and pray for some quality from somewhere, although where I have no idea.

McCarthy: We Were The Better Team

Just got home from the game, absolutely fantastic away support today, thought we just about did enough to take the three points but a lack of real quality in the final third cost us although there keeper did make a couple of good saves, especially Noubles header. The pen was a cert as far as I could see, def hand to ball, the ref just bottled it, not a ref basher as i used to be one but thought he had a poor game generally. Think we'll just about have enough to stay up but were gonna have to get at least one of the strikers scoring pretty soon, cant rely on the officials giving us decisions. COYB

Jewell Delighted With Hammering

Took my daughter to her first away game tonight, think I will have to take her more often after that! Fantastic result and performance, the effort was awesome, right to the final whistle, desperate to keep a clean shet with Fullop making a great save late on.....Well done Connor on his hattrick but as PJ said it was a huge team effort. Just one last thing....thought our fans were amazing, never stopped singing and the team responded....what a great night for everyone....onward and upwards.

Jewell Delighted With Another Three Points
at 12:31:40

So the last 3 league games we have scored 8 goals, not bad for a team Keane said didn't have goals in them and that is without our striker scoring! Amazing what a bit of good man management, adding humour, boosting morale and general confidence building can do. Very early days in the PJ reign, so am trying not to get too excited, but my god the signs are promising, the guy doesn't seem to have put a foot wrong yet, in both players and fans eyes.
Now to ensure safety, sort the contracts farce out, right back and striker and happy days!!!
