Bolton Boss Departs Ahead of Town Visit
at 03:29:35

Putting things such as the clubs history etc to one. Similar to Bury, clubs like these are important within the local area socially. Furthermore, without some form of support, it messes with people’s lives. Guessing like all clubs, they create a fair amount of employment in the area. Point I’m trying to make is that these clubs are more than a football club within the local area. People for many reasons depend of the clubs

Town Reiterate Stance on Antisocial Behaviour After Racist Chants at Luton
at 17:38:53

Myself being married to a woman of a different culture and colour with 2 children, unfortunately I have experienced such comments. Firstly was a lad who was in the same year as my eldest a couple of years back. Thank god the school was fantastic with how they dealt with it. Secondly was a comment made to me about having mixed race kids and they guy didn’t know. He was most apologetic when my colleague made him aware. My youngest also had comments aimed at him. Lastly my eldest and his mate whom is of a different colours had comments made against them whilst playing under 11 football. My lad who had just turned 11 was in tears and scared. Each time the offending person was dealt with appropriately. As a husband and father, it is not pleasant seeing people that you care about on the receiving end. Unfortunately it is still in existence in all walks of life and should not be accepted, but to a degree still is and not always highlighted. As most people are fully aware, many of these people are well educated and do jobs that suits there skill set.
Point being, is that if these people in the Ipswich end (supporters or not I/we don’t know) were to be put in the Luton supporters, would they have the balls to sing such songs or make such comments, even if it were tongue in cheek. Unfortunately, I have found through personal experience this mindset comes from parents and lack of education.
With that in mind and as the saying goes. A lack of education is dangerous.
I do think that as a whole that Ipswich fans are fully accepting of people from different backgrounds et all. The only thing I would ask would be that any of these people are pointed out to both the police and stadium security along with the club, and let the appropriate people deal with these idiots.

Lambert: No Complaints About Result But Some Positives
at 07:07:54

Even though this is no great issue, just extra unwanted games, personally I would like Ipswich to have a serious go at the checkatrade (or whatever it is called now). For the supporters it would be nice to have a day out at Wembley. In all fairness we are presently never going to win the league cup (I know we are out) or not he fa cup. I know there’s a bit of a financial benefit but not massive and not really worth getting to excited about. But with the checkatrade thing, at least it will keep the fans on side.
Finally, I am still concerned about the lack of transfer activity. It is the defence that is my main concern. Shore up the defence and at least you pick up a point. 1 point gained is better than 3 dropped. You would like to think that with our midfield we will create chances up front and hopefully Norwood will start scoring,

Lankester to Undergo Surgery on Back Injury
at 17:40:33

Sounds like an unfortunate injury. I guess with back injuries, similar to areas like the knee, it has to be treated with the upmost caution. Again I understand they are complex areas. Hopefully he comes back totally refreshed and helps the team push on for what we hope will be a push for promotion. Hear is for a successful rehabilitation.

Blues Edge Closer to Webster and Moore Sell-On Windfalls
at 17:30:09

With this 9 million deficit now pretty much covered now for this season, what happens if and when we stay in league 1. Is this part of the 5 point/ 5 year plan?
Furthermore, if Webster has a 20-30 odd million price tag on his head with 1 good season with Bristol city and a promising but injured season at Ipswich what peanuts will we see Dozzell, Lankester etc sold for?
It is becoming Mo clear that lambert will not hang around that long. We supporters are not stupid, or maybe we are. Personally I just want some honesty from the the board. Maybe we should boycott games or protests. I do appreciate that doesn’t help the team but it will have to be made clear that it’s not aimed at the players and coaching staff but it will be aimed at the senior management/board members. I gave up my season ticket during the Jewell era with the 2 reasons being that I had had enough of how the club was run. Secondly albeit not the clubs fault but having my 2nd child. With that in mind it was unfair on my wife that the club was playing dreadful. I didn’t have much of an argument with the Mrs. I was a season ticket holder for 20 years as well .
Finally, can someone who our local rivals are now. May as well rule out Norwich for the foreseeable future.

Blues Lining Up Millwall Striker Elliott as Bialkowski Move Could Be Revived
at 06:41:17

Personally, defenders are what we need. It’s proved our downfall for more than a while now. It’s simple football, if you make it hard to concede then the points tally will chip away nicely. Did wonders for arsenal under George Graham. Surely that theory hasn’t changed that much. Is our defence generally good enough and with the strength in depth to support this. As said, don’t concede and that’s a positive start. Sorry to state the obvious.

New Judge Bid Rejected Report

If there’s any truth in this, then it makes things very interesting. Guess with Ipswich being Ipswich he will be sold for a silly fee at the end of the transfer window without a serious replacement. Kind of got used to it now!!

With Andre, personally I think anything less than £15 we should be saying not a hope in hell. In today’s prices I would want a significant more. Until then I’m not interested.

Bishop Out for Three Months, Nsiala and Lankester to Miss Start of Season
at 17:57:27

As I said about bishop the other day. I’m afraid he has to go. Physically not up to it. The area is clearly week and you quite often find the athlete is never the same and they regularly struggle. With this in mind and the clubs financial situation we cannot afford to carry people like this. Unfortunately football like a number of other industries is ruthless. People like this become a financial burden.

Former Lincoln Defender Wilson Training With Blues

People are saying he would provide cover. Provide cover for who? If it’s chambers, then my god.
If he joined can I put a tenner on him saying big club, big ground, premier league facilities etc. Clearly he has not been that greater player throughout his career.
Is there an outside chance that we can sign someone decent that will get people excited again?
I’ve never heard of this bloke and do not have the slightest ounce of excitement about him.
It does seem an awfully big grave we are digging ourselves into. Hope the headstone is good!!

Bishop Scan Today
at 06:42:40

I’m sorry but I can’t really be supportive, how many years has the club supported him, how many chances does he want. It’s all a common issue that repeats itself. Ok I don’t blame the player, but like in most professional clubs they cannot afford to carry someone who repeatedly breaks down. This is more so with Ipswich who simply cannot afford to be carrying these kind of people. I appreciate injuries happen in sport, but repeatedly over a prolonged period is not financially viable.

Roberts Out to Grab Opportunity With Both Hands

To be honest, there are a few players who need to take this opportunity. Unfortunately with football, once you miss the opportunity you find yourself on a downward slope and falling down the leagues
