This is crazy all the time we seem to bottle it at the last minute !! For gods sake in the summer the wage bill is going to reduce with I am sure a number of players not having their contracts renewed.
If they get this deal sorted do they not think it would give the club also a massive lift for the fans who have been paying their hard earned money through the last 2 years !!!
I will for one be extremelly disappointed if we dont get thsi sorted now that we have agreed terms with Swindon ! |

Sign this lad I know some people have been giving this guy some grief but in my opinion he gives his all and is a quality player like he showed last year. I think his best position is Centre Mid and playing there will show how good a player this lad is. Now done to the money boys to sort the deal out so that means he wont be coming to us then !! After attending last night I was in a terrible moad on the way home and still feel very frustrated.
Ok, a degree of blame has to go on the manager, but lets not forget there was 11 players "supposingly" wearing Ipswich shirts last night how come they dont stand up and take so balme. I have no problem getting beat if we work hard and are beaten either by a better team or a lucky goal. Many many people would have loved the opportunity to be a proffesional footballer, but last night there seemed to many that juist expect to turn up and collect the wages. What about us poor souls that are earning considerably less than the players and we travel up to watch that s***. I think to prove what these players think of us and the club how about refund our ticket prices from last night. Nice token gesture !!!
Was a bit confused though when we are 2-1 down with 15 mins to go when making a couple of changes, why not go for and play 3 or even 4 strikers as in the end Delaney was up front !!!
I am guessing at 5/6 changes on saturday.
Still up Keano and up the town.

What a rubbish game last night was. Again started well go 1-0 and have chances to increase the lead which for about the 15th time this season be unable to do. How come we just cant score the second goal !
With the way the game was last night it was crying out for wingers who can run with the ball and get crosses in, and credit where it is due exactly what their manager did by bringing on Reid. Walters looked very poor last nioght and Healy has a decent touch at times, but looks so out of confidence and match fitness it is unreal. Surely we have a man who is an out and out wide man on the bench that we paid £1mil for in Edwards, and I know he has not been in great form, but feel he would have added more than either counago or quinn. Also, as we were losing why not change and play 3 forwards to get that goal, as how many times did the posh defence pass it around as no one was closing down !!! And although he was nopt having his greatest game Leadbetter is still a different class.
Great support from the fans. The only thought I had on my way home if any comfort and not sure it is, if I had to choose a game to lose last night oir Saturday against Shef Wed I would have taken last night as I still think they are going down (ok we may join them !!) but Shef Wed are just above us.
Still support the club forever more. |

Murphy - FAI keeper of the year again ! awaiting to see him play
Colin Healy - Admits he made a mistake which we all do time to time !
Daryl Murphy - Keano obviously rate sthis guy having chased him for so long and he has been playing a few prem games recently for Bruce so he must think he has something
David Healy - I think will do a job for us, only a month or so ago people on here where saying we would have healy he is just what we need and then we sign him and people still moan !!
For christs sake give this lads and manager and chance and support your team instead of moaning at that all the time. And perhaps when you are free one Saturday afternoon you could come down to support them at the ground !!! |

I real;ly can not see the point in sacking Keane now. For starters who are we going to get in with their magic wand ? Like one of the posts earlier we have a lot stronger defence now, and are unbeaten in 6 !!! (I know only one win in that !!) however who is going to want the job now apart from someone that has failed somewhere else. As for getting someone in before the loan window closes, so if we get ridf of keane and get in manager in the next 2 days he is going to sign 2 players on loan in a matter of mnutes real world time !!!
Look at Swansea they have scored less goals than us and where they are in the league !!!!
Come lets back Keane and the Blues thats what they need now not moan moan moan !!!

What I think would be a good think wou,d be if the crowd really got behind the players tonight from start to finish and supported them with positive vibes !! If you were a player surely that would push you to play better rather than be scared to death of making a mistake !! Lets give Keano a big boast with hearing his name and the players.
Fingers crossed tonight and I do hope there is one change tonight as feel Edwards could cause them some trouble, personally I would drop trotter as low in confidence and have a rest and bring Quinn or Colbeck in to the middle.

If Evans and Clegg believe in Keane they should pull out all the stops to get these signings in, and then Keane has no more excuses. If they don't then there will always be excuses.
At the game on Saturday my young son turned round and said "Don't worry Daddy its not all about winning !!!"
How do you answer that I replied I think that is what Roy is telling the players !!!
In my opinion cant all be blamed on the manager as all of these players once over that white line is down to them to at least show work rate and commitment, I accept beiong beaten if the players come of that pitch knackered but I do question how many show that at the minute !!! Any other job if you didn't perform you are sacked so sometimes the players need to stand up and be counted ! |

Edwards would be quality seem him play a few times and he actually runs at and beats defenders from the wing and chips in with a few goals but certyainly assists. Nosworthy would be a good solid experienced centre half who would help us stop conceeding stupid goals ! However centre mid is still my concern, as from what I have seen of the first 3 games and then on Sky on Saturday, Trotter is slow and cant jump for a 6ft bloke !, Healy simply not good enough, Peters lively needs someone or couple with him to allow him the freedom. Norris is a big loss in my opinion, at least he will get stuck in !! Garvan good passer at times but not lived up to expectations. Come on Roy gets those boots on !! Wil be there again tonight and Saturday and forever more. IN Keane I have faith ! |
