Ashton: Long and Challenging Window But We’ve Come Through It in Decent Shape
at 08:53:54

This guy is a class operator, speaks to us as fans with a calm reassurance, the like of which has not been seen for a generation.

Our football club is in safe hands, it will take time to turn the "oil tanker" around. If you are still not prepared to give this Mark's key ingredient, time, after listening to that then quiten your noise, we need positivity, positivity and more positivity right now.

Better times will return, be patient and keep the faith that we are now moving in the right direction at long last.

Let's not criticise what some perceive to be a lack of class by showing exactly that.

Ipswich Town 0-1 Newport County - Match Report
at 22:41:37

The new ownership and management of this club are positive change but huge change doesn't bring instant success.

They are doing their bit, improved squad, better infrastructure and an openness towards us as fans that we haven't seen for years.

We must now hold up our end of the bargain, we stick with this long term project, yes we are all frustrated with a home draw in the league and another cup defeat. We must now more than ever exude positivity and back this to the hilt, let's not have negative Norman's filling this board with tripe the second things don't go our way which they won't always.

McCarthy Leaves Town With Immediate Effect - Updated With Audio
at 23:35:57

The topic of MM has long created a divide between ITFC fans. The man should be acknowledged for what he did, hindsight says two/three years max would have been his sell by date. There were so many factors, lack of money, not playing youngsters, disrespecting fans, boring football, the list goes on yes but that water has long passed under the bridge. We must unite and move on.

My wishlist;

1) ME nails this appointment- critical
2) 20000 + crowds become the norm again
3) PR is somewhere to enjoy going again
4) This bitterness and angst towards fellow fans stops
5) We witness some of our own coming into and making an impact in the first team
6) If it isn't too much more to ask a win against that mob 40 miles north is long overdue

This is the most important few months for the club in recent times. COYB

West Brom’s Hammond at Portman Road to Run Rule Over McCarthy
at 11:18:39

Perhaps Hammond/WBA are considering Neil Harris as an option and not MM. Hurst looks like a very good fit on every level for me
