A very disappointing start to the season - especially for the fans who paid good money and made the effort to go to Reading and Stevenage. It's not just because of the two bad results, but also how these defeats can seriously dent the confidence levels within the team! As all fans know, we STILL need a playmaker in midfield and a reliable goal scorer. However, we must all try to stay positive and hope we at least have a better season than last year. Chins up!

McCarthy Hurt By Hammering

Having supported the Blues for several decades and been fortunate enough to experience the "golden era" of the 70's and early 80's, this is definitely an all time low! BUT - although things are are looking bleak, embarrassing, desperate and depressing, this is still only MID NOVEMBER! Lets just believe that we have hit the depths and things can now only get better. Town have time, hopefully money and a proven Manager to deal with the many problems that face us. At present there are an accumulation of issues that have been kindly left to us by the last two managers and these will be systematically dealt with by MM. We will look back on these dark times at the end of the season when we will be sitting at worst mid table. Lets keep our chins up!!
