Yeah, the loan was a second year option on promotion. Both quality players and would love to see them here next year - wouldnt surprise me if both are possibly made permanent though. A lot of traffic at Chelsea for Hutch, and although he has been quality for us, not sure I'd say he has done enough to be in first team reckoning at Chelsea yet - so we might get a good deal with a first option possibly. Same for Sarmiento maybe, which would allow us to then go and get two more top quality loans if required |

SO as Jeremy is an 'option' would that count in the upcoming window or the last when the deal was originally struck..? |

Promotion doesn't necessarily mean we will look abroad. McKenna knows the young english players through working at youth and U23 levels, promotion would give him the money and pull to be able to go out and get top quality young players in the ilk of Hutch ect. I saw Taylor Harwood Bellis linked the other week - this is exactly the type of signings I think we will make, young players from top clubs who are around the 22-24 age and in need of kicking on in their career rather than keep going on loans/playing bit parts or U23 football. I personally think we need a goalkeeper, right back, centre half, back up left back, central midfielder, left winger, second and third striker. We are not quite there yet, but IF we do get there this will be a summer window like we have not seen before - in terms of quality coming in and fees paid (stating the obvious I know) [Post edited 1 May 10:18]

Predicted team from Coventry live - Brad Collins; Milan van Ewijk, Bobby Thomas, Joel Latibeaudiere, Jake Bidwell; Josh Eccles, Liam Kelly; Callum O’Hare, Kasey Palmer, Haji Wright; Ellis Simms. Dangerous looking attack but a midfield we can hopefully control and a defence we can certainly get at. Come on Town |

At this time of the season results will go like this - teams are a the top end for a reason. No one is stepping aside and letting us glide to the Premiership. |

I remember being a young boy at treacle’s debut, possibly Bolton in the Coca Cola - could be wrong, but I remember thinking treacle was dreadful. Of course my judgement was horrendously wrong, and like many of a similar age he went on to become my favourite player |

For clarification - https://www.efl.com/governance/regulations/#heading-administration-and-arrangeme Section 28 - Kick Off Times - The Home Club shall fix the time. There is a guidance part which notes - Should circumstances change which necessitate a request for a change of kick-off time (i.e. police intelligence) and it is not mutually agreed, The League will request and consider the views of both Clubs before determining whether to approve such request. I had a brief look over it and can't see anywhere that police are able to decide anything regarding fixtures - also doesn't stipulate anything about policing at matches so could be within another document somewhere |

I don't think so and gladly so - could you imagine? There would be games off all the time, when star players get injured, team has a big game and all of a sudden 12 players go down with a mystery illness - There is enough window with FFP and other things for clubs to manipulate so fortunately this isn't (i hope) [Post edited 15 Apr 4:56]

Lets not forget where we are and where Hull are over the course of the season - if anyone should be fearing anyone it should be Hull fearing playing Ipswich in the 3rd match in 8 days by which time they are likely out of the promotion race anyway - Hull are away at Watford and Coventry. And when you look at scums remaining fixtures - Bristol City (h), Swansea (h), Birmingham (a), I'd say Hull are pretty much done [Post edited 15 Apr 3:39]

Or you just do it before kick off whilst players are out on pitch warming up - once main warm up is done about 5 mins before they are due to go back in - just like it used to be - all fans pretty much there in their seats and applauding. Common sense approach |

Someone knows they are on borrowed time. Effectively out of the auto race now and into the lottery of the playoffs. If they don’t go up will he survive the summer? |

Yeah, I think you are right - quality player when fit and on song. But he's not fit, he's not here, and more than likely not going to be here by season's end - 2 months left in the season and he isn't match fit - Best we all just move on. Given my recent predictions, Williams will be back and will score the winner against Huddersfield to take us up. |
