| News Comment | Waghorn's Derby Move Confirmed at 11:35:12
Great bit of business and wish him all the best. He done us proud last season and I think he's a great guy on and off the pitch. Just a bit disappointed he didn't mention us and the opportunity we gave him to showcase himself. |
| News Comment | Shrews Signings and Waghorn Exit Set to Be Confirmed on Wednesday at 22:07:53
This is running my nerves ragged. Just get it done so I can breath again. With Waghorn gone surely we can get tilt and Jackson as well. I certainly hope so. This is the most excited I have been during an August transfer window in ten years or more. Please give me some respite. COYB |
| News Comment | Crawley Town 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 08:13:45
Not a great result and not a great performance but I think we need to keep in mind that we have been playing boring, containing, defensive hoof ball for the last 5 years. Changing the team to a more footballing side is not going to happen overnight. I like what PH says and he can see he has a massive job on his hands but we need to give him time to effect those changes. Pre season is all about that and the results are not important. I would imagine that we will have a maybe stuttering start to the season but can see us safe from relegation by Christmas and competing by May. This will be a springboard for a serious promotion push next year. After all the frustrations we have had to put up with over the last ten or so years I for one one am prepared to give this guy time to turn our club back into the great footballing club it once was. Onwards and upwards. Let's get behind them. COYB |
| News Comment | McCarthy Proud to Reach Four-Year Mark With Town at 09:49:20
I have been a fan for over 40 years and will be for another 40 years but I cannot bear to watch this idiot take our once great club down the pan. The only protest I can make that may force a change is to spend no more of my hard earned cash watching this drivel. If the crowds drop enough then surely the owner will bring about change. The last game I watched was the game against the scum and I will not go to any more games until he is gone. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: No Need for Apology, Chambo, You Scored the Winner! at 20:52:45
My main concern is this comment “Not just one player, it was typical of us, it was about five little errors which ended up as a huge one and it ended up in our net". Yes it was typical of us but we will still set up with the same line up and tactics in the next game. I am ever an optimistic Town fan but fail to see how we will get promoted with no competition for places. Maybe I've had a beer too many tonight and shouldn't be commenting after such but I love my team and know we have the squad to do so much better. |

| News Comment | Oar Feeling Fitter Ahead of Christmas Fixtures at 18:33:06
I'm optimistic for the lad. I think he has something to offer with his runs and crossing ability. He looked good against Man U and I would like to see him given a run. |

| News Comment | Milne: Town Are in a Good Place - PLC AGM Report at 15:03:59
I don't know why we are worried about £80 mil internal debt. As of June Arsenal debt £240 mil, Man United debt £342 mil and Chelsea debt £958 mil. We are positively flush! |
| News Comment | Charlton 0-3 Town - Match Report at 16:58:04
I am one of the first to criticise gerkins selection but I ate humble pie today. I predicted with our back five we would not keep a clean sheet. Humble pie has never tasted so good. Gerkin was outstanding and I don't think you will find a better goalkeeping performance in any other match today. Hats off to all the lads. If not for murphys hard work and goals I would have given MOM to Gerkin. Bring on boro. COYB. |
| News Comment | Happy Valley for Town Once Again? at 07:58:09
I'm afraid I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. I will be supporting the town with fervour, as I always do. I just hope that Murphy is on fire and that we can score more than the Addicks. COYB |
| News Comment | McCarthy: We Let Them Off the Hook Twice at 19:20:22
We have a top of the table strike force, a mid to top midfield and a rock bottom defence. I have a lot of respect and applause for MM and what he has done since coming here but he must be the only man in this league, including fans, players and managers, who cannot recognise that our back five will concede goals to any kind of threat. Until he wises up to this fact, today's game will be typical for the rest of this season. |
