Home Ticket Priority
at 15:57 7 May 2024

I really do hope they keep the long-distance fans who have been on the journey in mind. If times do get tough again those fans will be there where as you never know with the newer fans (not doubting anyone's commitment by the way)

I'm probably in the minority where I'd rather go see some other teams over the money-grabbing top six.

Home Ticket Priority
at 15:29 7 May 2024

I don't envy those that have the job of working out how the home ticket priority should work for next season. I remember last time we were in the Premier League a ballot system was in place which worked ok from what I recall.

As a long-time member, I would like to think loyalty is rewarded however I do recognise the importance of getting the new young fans hooked. I certainly don't expect to go to more games than I have been attending during an average season but would like to have some priority over those that have been to less games. I wouldn't be too chuffed if every game was on the luck of the queue and I expect there will be plenty of away fans by membership and trying to get tickets if some sort of points system wasn't in place.

Am also expecting some sort of price rise but hopefully a sensible one - I've seen some horror stories from other clubs. I've no reason to doubt our ownership though as they've been great so far.

Seeing a 100% 'genuine' current town shirt on eBay. I might have missed them previously however it's the first time I've seen a hooky town shirt online.

Possible Hull transfer targets ....?

As we saw with Omari's first goal v Hull, Philogene is nowhere near our boys in terms of pressing.

Whilst I don't dispute the link I would dispute the fee - Cov not skint these days. They'll be asking for double that although £15m might well get it done.

If Delap is available, he's bound to be on our radar
at 20:39 5 May 2024

Latte Lath has been electric whenever I've seen him. Given he cost them over £5m I'd imagine they'd now want £15m-£20m. Delap has been touted as being available for about £10m which could be a bargain. He's not quite reached the heights that were predicted a couple of years back but clearly has something.

I'd be surprised if Wrexham didn't try and sign him.

IF we do go up...What business needs to be done?
at 17:29 1 May 2024

If they're not going to integrate him into their first team Chelsea would be silly not to keep Hutch here. That said he does hold some of the cards given he'll be entering the last year of his contract. He left Arsenal because he couldn't see a path to the first team and I expect he'd do the same to Chelsea if no obvious pathway was present.

Got a lot of respect for anyone that can recognise a rival's achievements. There's a lot of tinted glasses nonsense in this social media age. I don't want Norwich to do well but if they do get promoted then fair play. An East Anglian derby in the Prem would be pretty special.

To be fair his best mate is Klopp who's the king of moaning about fixture schedules.

It's a shame that the Prem has become an absolute sewer that's consumed by greed.

I don't think we're far off a big attempt from a number of owners to close up the shop and move to an MLS style model.

Unless ineligible people have just have them in their basket there's a lot more than that gone. Only odd pockets of seats left.

I'd like to know how this queue system works. On a number of different devices and browsers and I'm furthest ahead in the one I opened second.

Especially given the current state of the Turkish league. To say it's been a crazy season would be an understatement.

We'll be linked to all sorts this summer as we'll be a popular pawn for agent fabricated links given our successful season and new found wealth.

Tottenham losing £86m last season
at 15:48 3 Apr 2024

Don't get me wrong I want to get promotion however as a spectacle the Championship is a lot more fun. Seen a lot of fans from the likes of Luton say the journey getting there was great but the Premier League fan experience these days is pretty miserable with the extortionate ticket prices and protection of the 'Sky 6'.

Realistically what has a Palace fan for example got to look forward to? Maybe the old scalp and a reasonable cup run. Never going to be competitive at the top end barring a few wonderkids coming through the academy. Plus the old route of unearthing rough diamonds from the lower leagues or a random European team is even trickier now with the abundance of scouting and analytics tools available.
now.

Anyway I'll stop being negative and keep enjoying the amazing journey we are on as we won't have these owners forever.

Leicester, it's actually disgusting
at 15:13 3 Apr 2024

It's really dumb that the EFL can't act now - after all it's the same pyramid. They've gained an unfair sporting advantage knowing full well how their finances were looking. There should be a set tariff - a simple formula that converts the amount of overspend into the number of points to be deducted. It's really not that difficult.

Personally I'd like to scrap FFP and allow clubs to spend want they want providing it's covered by the owner and is not a loan. Then administration penalised by automatic relegation to create some order. The current methodology is only there to maintain the status quo.

I get the impression that Fabrizio is very much on the payroll of some of the bigger agencies - this seems like an attempt to get his name out there.
Given the decision he made to leave Arsenal, I think Omari will very much be looking for a way out of Chelsea this summer to a top division club who will give him a clear pathway to first-team minutes.

They gave the fans what they wanted. Also great to get a new striker off the mark. I wouldn't have given it to Chappers regardless as his record from the spot for us isn't fantastic.
