| News Comment | West Brom Match Moves for Sky at 18:02:19
Well I'm a but pissed... Booked flights for that Friday evening to come down and see the game on Saturday :/ |
| News Comment | Pearce Thought He Might Be On His Way at 15:07:17
In fairness though Pompey never accepted a bid for him, so its not like he had any choice of leaving. Saying his head was all over the place means he most likely wanted to leave, the other bit he probably added to please his current employers. |
| News Comment | Jewell: Players Will Get Fitter at 14:00:25
To all those saying about a lack of cover...so JET, carson and martin (also mentionably hyam, ingy, kennedy and murphy) aren't good enough? |
| News Comment | Town Topic: Good Luck Connor at 15:45:03
Good luck Connor...show the world what you can do. With any luck we'll have a large sell-on clause so we can buy you back when we get promoted next year! |
| News Comment | Sunderland First to Make Wickham Bid at 12:19:40
Also, i think our opinions on whether the club should sell our really quite irrelevant: Somebody will offer what is in his contract and then it will truly be up to Connor himself to decide. Just remember that if we keep him here and get promoted thats worth 60+ mill, much more than his value atm. |
| News Comment | Bullard Linked With QPR Talks at 12:11:57
Like anybody else id love to have bullard, but we have to be realistic and build a team for nex season: we have leadbitter, drury/carson, hyam and peters who id happily see there next season. In central defence though we have smith and delaney (and ainsley). Thats it. We need to sort out the defence first then get a goalscorer and then we can work on improving the midfield and goalkeeper. |
| News Comment | U18s Crash Out of Youth Cup at 12:24:28
Sad bout lavery as he sounded promising. I cant believe keano plays one up front- even in youth games! |
| News Comment | Town Set to Sign West Brom Defender at 13:01:31
Good player. With fallon and this dude (and hopefully a wonderkid) keano should have a team that may actually be OK- however keano still needs to manage it! |
| News Comment | Keane Reflecting on Another Poor First Half at 17:10:55
Interesting to see wot keano said: I agree QPR were far better than us, but i personally dont think cardiff were- without bellamy, chops and olly they were like us; a combative team without real creativity. With one or two high-calibre signings (and or including a RB) in Jan i can honestly see us finishing above them if ME backs RK with his cash. Probably good management to make the players improve further after the horrendous first half @ scunny. |
| News Comment | Keane Delighted to Finally Be Drawn at Home at 17:01:21
As long as we pay the due respect to northampton we should make the next round. I then think its written in the stars for keano and fergie to meet at some stage of the competiiton. |
| News Comment | Rodgers Yet to Hear From Keane on Beattie at 16:44:30
Not a terrible player, but not gonna pull trees either. He could warm the bench, but where would the other subs sit? What we really need is a winger/creative midfielder to come on to change a game. But ill be happy even if we make no more signings, as this team should be in a decent position come january. |
| News Comment | Keane: Nothing But Positives at 19:43:02
Well done lads. First aaway agme of the season on sat so hope we win and play weel. Off to uni next week so i must be one of the few fans wanting an awy draw in the next round of the league cup: Arsenal at the Emirates anyone? |
| News Comment | Walters Hits Back at Keane at 16:54:02
chgambersM and Zippy why don't you shut up about keane's personality! I don't care about it, i aint gonna go out drinking with him or anything: All i care about is how he manages our precious football club. Look at the table, we are 2nd and moving in the right direction. |
