Aran Jones was originally a RB but had to compete with CB so played in midfield which is probably why he wasnt offered Pro deal as they would not want 2 RB.
He will hopefully be ablr to return to his RB position at another club good luck to him to. |

LOL without a statement to say why then all we can do is speculate. I agree with blue velevet stuff like this goes on all the time but most players / parents don't do anything about is as they are worried it will effect how their child is treat / their childs future. I am glad to see the club dealing with Pejic for what ever reason but i think we should know why he has been suspended and for how long. |

I am suprised at how poor the academey are doing i watched a few U16 games last year and they were a very good technical team, they were not just about getting the ball and kicking it long but passed it around, where are these boys now ? U18's is a step up but its the same for every other team.I think Brian Klug and Tony Humes were big losses to our academey. From the looks of the report 3 subs unused so i don't think there was many changes. But in a realistic view Bents and Wickhams and Rhodes do not come along very often and a player like wickham is worth the academey staying open even if it is once in a blue moon. |

agree with mugsykets. My lad was in the academey a few years ago and sheepshanks would often come over and watch his games along with Jim, They were both always around at the presentation nights and made an effort to chat with the boys and the parents, I guess M.E and Roy will be doing that this year. |

Conner Wickham is def one of the best 17 year olds in England - but there are some amazing 18 and 19 year olds around in other clubs, Conner has to outshine these players aswell to be the next Rooney or Becks, I think it has probably helped him always being so much bigger than his peers but they will all be catching him up soon, so lets hope his talent is far better than any other 17 year old in the country and not just his size as the offers will shrink not grow, I hope you have a brill forthcoming season Conner i have always been a fan of yours have watched some of the academy games over the years. |
