| News Comment | Ipswich Town 3-2 Bristol City - Match Report at 23:34:06
For the first time in 14 years I've been able to make it back to the UK to watch Ipswich play; and what a rollercoaster that was. Kind of uneventful first half. Then they went one up as would be expected, so no surprise when we equalised. But then worry set in as they went up again as this is not part of the usual plan. But relieved when we equalised again. Then elated as we got a penalty followed by horror as well missed it followed by bloody bonkers crazy happy as Davis finally got his goal... ... Thanks for making the trip back certainly worth while Ipswich. |

3 attacking players and a defensive midfielder signed this window. There has been such a gap between the first two signings and the last two that at first it felt like we had a slow and unsuccessful window. A full back cover for Leif and I'm plenty happy. |
| News Comment | Town to Face Bundesliga Sides On Second Austria Trip at 18:10:02
Well, it's finally some good luck for me. Not only is it 3 hours down the road; but I also have the time off to go see it. Plus summer is great in Austria, so it's watching Ipswich play followed by camping next to a lake. What's not to like? People may complain about preseason gamesmini tournaments abroad... But they forget that it gives a chance for fans abroad to watch the team play, which didn't get to happen very often. |

3 times since the end of last season. 1 for Denmark and 2 for town, and nearly a second in the Reading game. |
| News Comment | Knudsen: Home Record Must Change at 00:30:41
Just re-watched the Reading highlights and you're absolutely right... so easy to defend against. Not at all involved in the first goal...and in no way almost resulted in a second. |
| News Comment | Shrewsbury Boss Hurst Continues to Be Linked at 13:42:58
Well, Shrewsbury's last game against Blackpool; Hurst went for a 3,2,4,1 formation which could play as an attacking line-up depending on who you stick in there. A back 3 of Knudsen, Webster and Spence. Huws and Skuse in front of them. Ward, Garner, Dozzel and Carayol at left wing as the next line. Waghorn up-front. The bench could be nice with McGoldrick, Bishop, Gerken, Chambers, Sears, Cotter and Downes. Whoever we get in as manager; I think that they some pretty good players to choose from. If Rowe still isn't up to task; we could do with getting in another LM though... let's hope the injuries aren't as bad next season. |
| News Comment | Bialkowski: Talks on 'Agreed' Contract Continuing at 17:37:42
Can't believe that there are some people on here criticising him for his opinions and suggesting he should move on... This is the player who had been our player of the year for three seasons running. A vital part of the team. If you think a keeper of his quality would be easily replaced (especially with our budget); you are kidding yourself. |
