tractorboynathan - read the article, it says they still may not be in a position to turn down a good offer. Just because they have been taken over, doesnt mean their debt get wiped out automatically, they will still need money to repay it.
He has said himself that he would love to work for keane again, and maybe as we beat cardiff twice last season, he may realise we are better than our position suggests, you have to be optimistic. |

firstly how do all of you moaners know what 1m hungrian forints is worth, or what u can get for it, maybe that is what the charity were campaigning for.
secondly it was reported that £20,000 was at least double our highest earner. Don't you think it is extremely unlikely tamas priskin is our highest earner, especially as we signed him from watford. It is more likely that he is on like £5000 a week, in which case it is over half his wage.

admitidly this doesnt sound the most exciting prospect, but are you all forgetting we got shefki when he was a sheffield wednesday sub and they were in league 1, no 1 had heard of him but look how good he turned out to be. You are all judging him before you have seen him play! It is the same with david johnson he was from bury but was awesome, give the guy a chance......... |

IMO roy should definately sign rosenior, pure quality going forward with shear pace and darryl murphy, for obvious reasons. As for david healy what you have to remeber is he has only really started a handful of games and obviusly has not got his match sharpness yet, so we need to be patient. Possibly get him on loan with view to perminent deal next summer and see how he goes.... |

itfchorry, agree r wright is quality, okay he did have a bit of a rocky start to the season but so did mcauley, there was talk of him leaving and since then he has been one of the feww consistent performers. It is the same with delany, where as IMO brian murphy has looked very shakey, and yes he has kept 5 clean sheets but only because of the solid defence, he has only had to make a handful of saves, and they were good saves but they r also saves that you would expect the keeper to make. The two goals agains Plynouth were definately partly down to him, didnt come for the 1st one and the second trickled past him, neither of them sould have happened. Wrighty is a quality stopper, any keeper with full england caps is good enough for this club......... |

definately and obviously need some attacker hu gets behind defences and scores. however i dont think we can sell pablo he is a fan favourite and offers something completely different to our other strikers h are reletivel similar only he out of our fowards (with the exception of stead OCCASIONALLY) has the bility to hold the ball up, spray passes and bring other attackers into the equation wen attacking. in terms of defence we MUST sign rosenior permanently and perhaps bring in another versatile full bac as back up, IMO dont want to break up defence/midfield by bringing loads of players in as they are doin very, very well.
hopeflly can secure someone like jackson but wish we wud of moved first and got ellington and not that greek side, he would have been quality. |

cud be de vos but he was terrible wen he 1st came, marcus stewrt perhaps, true goal scoring legend. perhaps not the mst skillful, exiting player but a fans favourite wh always going the crowd goin and tried his best. i ll always remember the raw f the crowd wen he ventured up front, great in the air and a football hard man, no one would out strengthen him, so for them reasons possibly BAMBAM, and if not 4 the reasons perhaps just coz he was so loyal, a true legend........., any1 agree?? |

dont think u would get chopra, no way! and in the summer leeds said they were goin to keep Beckford and he wasnt aloud to leave but i think his contract runs out this summer so........
ci think scotland would be possible no goals tis season, martinez may relise he cant cut in PL but wud help get u there so i think he would be good. Also some1 like Billy Sharpe who has scored bout 10 this season, on loan at Doncaster, but not sure wether he could be bought from sheffiled utd but if so wud be worth a punt, sheffield would be grateful for the money,
