Don't think that will be a worry mate as as I've been looking through all the posts I think they already know there not in MM plans and I think training with the u21s and hopefully putting themselves in the shop window for a different club will be there main objective plus I think the team spirit is so high at present I don't think it will phase the current squad in regards of the having little hissey fits. I can see Taylor going to p'bourogh and woody going back to the u's anyway quite quickly as I think MM will want that done sooner rather than later |

I'd quite like to see a midfielder come in someone who can pull the strings a little or a dead ball specialist, what about the boy Lockhart from Leicester (I think that's his name) doesn't really get a mention in the team anymore or he might be injured but thought he was quality for them last year in ther promotion team, also a striker such as McLean from Wigan or a assombalonga (I know rubbish spelling lol) he's on the bench at Forrest but in my opinion a quality striker and worth a bit as a back up or in a three man attack |

I'm thinking with St ledger and hunt going it could well be that MM has new faces coming in in the transfer window, from what I hear they weren't playing that much anyway so no great lose and with mings and hyam coming back into the fold I'm not really that worried I wouldn't go so far as to say we have strength in depth but I would say we had a solid 15/16 which isn't to bad and I also find when a team is winning as we are there doesn't seem to be so many injuries.. That might just be me thinking that |

I'm at work today and I would say 90% are ipswich fans and there is a real buzz about the office my boss has just caught me on my first day back on this site and expecting a rollicking for not doing my work I actually got "what does it say about the boys" lol what a great boss.....
I would like to agree with the above post about anyone can beat anyone though as there are a lot of good teams in this division but I look at that as a positive for us as it looks even better the position we're in and who says we can't get a little carried away I think after the many years of pain and fauls expectation we deserve to have a bit of belief especially with the team (squad) we have at present, I'm going for a 3-0 home win smurf with two and a dids pen ... Hi to all the Ipswich fans out there it's been almost a year since I last posted but trying to find a signal in the middle of the outback is a little hard but I'd just like check that this is still the TWTD website lol it's so refreshing to see my beloved town doing so well and from what im told playing with freedom and excitement, I was in the pub on Boxing Day and normally you get the same old rubbish spoken about over a couple of jars such as the manager doesn't know what he's doing or I wish we had a striker who scored goals bla bla bla... But it was completly the opposit it was more like belief and going into games thinking we are going to win I actually forgot what it was like to hold my head up high and puff the old chest out and let me tell ya it felt good to stand there and talk about promotion dreams rather than being happy to try and get in the play offs anyway rants over just thought Id put my tenpeneth in and say COYB my first game to watch is charlton on Tuesday and I must say although I loved watching the mighty town whenever and always had belief in the past I really can't wait to see what I've missed for so long, and to think I was going to change my log in name although how do you like HEREARETHEGOODTIMES lol oh I hope you all had a great Christmas and here's to premier new year x

I do agree that we need to look to the future and a young keeper would be good to build up although, at this present time I feel that we need to get a good keeper in with experience ie camp. Gilks, all the best to he do though as I feel he has done well for us whilst on loan and also I do like loach and feel that he is a number 1 in the making. Give him another season or so and he will be quality. |

Well as Harry and Marcus are ment to be pretty good friends I'm hoping that we get dj on a cheep purchase or certainly get first dibs on him, that doesn't entirely fill me with confidence though as we have been known in the past to mess thinks up in that department,
That being said I'm actually happy that Harry is there knew manager as this can bowed well for us in this respect, like previously said, can't see Harry wanting to keep dj especially as he will get some serious money to spend I'm guessing but will also have to sell some players to make room.

Well this the only time i;m thankful my car is in at the garage and i couldn't get to the match i'm like every other town fan who says there going to stay away but its the club i support not the manager and i feel as though i would be letting that down rather than him as quit frankly i think he truly has run out of ideas and tonight just proves it.
I sat at home and listened to the formation and even brenner sounded stunded, I would rather we played 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 and have a go and lose than one up top and lose in the final minute again...........thats the problem with loans i guess, just answer me one thing if you will mr jewell, if you think all these loans are good players and will get us out of trouble, why arent they playing for there parent club????? I would rather send all the loans back to there clubs and put the kids in and let them have a go and go down rather than keep spending all our money on hasbeens for three months and them not give a hoot, get the kids in you muppet |
