As one of the people who did not renew this season I am completely lost as to what other than a 10% reduction is being offered on the early bird date.
Yes I hope with MM going that the entertainment at PR will increase but what if one dinosaur is replaced with another? Frankly I wouldn't buy a ticket to a show where I was told the lead actor will only be named after I buy the ticket even though it is 10% cheaper. |

Not published above but MM's comments on Radio Suffolk after the match shows he is not interested in entertaining the fans and he declared that the low attendance was not up to him - somehow laying the blame elsewhere? Just win and all will be well - I don't think that will get the missing thousands back. His 'style' of football should disappear just as the other dinosaurs did.

I am more interested in the way we play, team selection and other items to do with the football that we pay to watch. That of course is a matter for elite people of a much higher IQ than the fans. |

First of all let me declare that I am an old and a very loyal supporter of the town. I do not admire MM and think his style and his football stink and we would be much better off without him and to get entertaining football back at Portman Road.
Now the bit most of you will not like. With respect the club have not announced anyone they are trying to sign. It is all media speculation including this site, it is therefore ridiculous for the majiority of your complaints to be made in this way. The only complaints that are currently valid are concerning events we do know about (Murphy and Varney) which do show a lack of management on behalf of the club (I cannot say if this is MM or ME).
Given this , lets wait and see what ensues. I hope it is better than I expect it to be ! |

Marcus Evans admitted that he knew very little about football when he became owner, his reasons for owning the club are not clear but he must rely heavily on others the biggest of them being MM. It is clear to me from the utterances and style of our current manager that he dictates very much what is going on. Entertaining loyal fans like me is not the top of his priority list, hence we will be reduced year on year for season ticket sales and the fan base that is not town through and through will only react to success as they see it. With MM they might be lucky but they will not be entertained most of the time. |
