Jewell: Bullard Gives Us Something Different
at 12:50:38

Very good signing in my opinion and the conditions of the loan are also good! We've lacked some composure on the ball in midfield, someone who is confident on the ball and can pass! Also a good set piece player who can hopefully beat the near post unlike Leadbitter! Obvious question mark over his fitness and injury proness, but this couls proof to be a masterful move by Jewell. Get Austin in too and we're good to go! Things are most certainly looking up and positive at last!

Jewell Loving Life at Classy Town
at 13:23:06

BlueInBrum- You took the words out of my mouth. The more I hear him speak, the more impressed I become. I admit I wasn't jumping for joy when he was appointed, my Derby mates didn't help in that matter, but right now he's saying the right things and obviously has great respect for our wonderful club. He respects our history and traditions which we've lacked in the past 2years, he talks sense, seems approachable and good humoured.
If he gets the team playing the way they did in the 2nd half against Donny, we'll be just fine.
Keep up the good work Paul, you're making an believer out of me.

McAuley: Some Players Let Keane Down
at 14:20:09

Gareth I completely agree with what you've said, and congratulate you on your honesty. One can speculate on which players he is referring to, but I'm sure Priskin wasn't too sad to see Keane depart!
The new manager whoever it may be, has alot of work to do to convince McAuley and Norris to sign new contracts. I really can't see certain players buying into someone like Megson and possibly even Jewell......

Clegg: New Manager In the Coming Days
at 14:23:20

First and foremost some fans on here seriously need a reality check! Hodgson, Jol, Allardyce and O'Neil will never consider us! Get a huge grip on reality!
I'm relieved Keane has gone and wish to say thanks for his efforts, it just wasn't his time.
I expect Paul Jewell to be appointed even with Clegg doing the mandourity "denying" and will give it 48hrs mark of respect till he is appointed.
If it's Gary Megson we will go nowhere and will consider my season ticket renew.
I'm excited but also very apprehensive and who will be our next manager, I really want O'Driscoll, perfect match for us and will be given time. But my faith in the establishment has been dented, and worry who they will appoint.
The king is dead. Long live the king.

Clegg: New Manager In the Coming Days
at 19:35:39

I couldn't agree more with this blog if I wanted to.
Keane was and still is, a perfect PR and marketing tool for Evans empire. The one thing that grinds my gears is being referred to as "Roy Keane's Ipswich", it was to be expected with the man's huge profile and media pull, which I'm sure played a big factor in Evans's decision to bring the Irish man. here. Great advertising when you see Keane rant on SSN with Evans name boldly showing behind Keane.
The Sunderland arguement also has been done to death. Yes he got them promoted, but any manager worth their salt would've got that squad promoted in my opinion.
Was I excited when Keane was appointed? You bet I was! But there was always something at the back of my mind thinking "this could go horribly wrong" and I'm saying it because of where we are.

As for future managerial possibilites. I'd love to think we could attract a O'Neil, but lets be realistic. We were once a well respected football club throughout the country and Europe. That respect has sadly gone, is it since Keane's arrival? It hasn't helped in my opinion.
My personal managerial choices are simple. We require experience at this level but also experience of getting out of the league, understands the ideals of producing via academy, always try to play attractive football. Who else than Curblishley!!

Keane Still Hoping to See Out Town Contract
at 14:32:41

I admire Keane's honesty, but he knows this simply isn't good enough and something has to change pronto.
Our woeful defending and our strikers unable to convert chances, simply isn't helping matters, 11 goals conceded in the past 4 games, scored 3. That's relegation form. Simple as that.

I've never been a Keane fan, player or manager, however the guy is a born winner and this must situation must be a massive dent in his pride and arrogance level's.
I hoped like everyone else Keane would suceed, but it's simply not working out for him here. Move on Roy, do yourself a favour and our club before things get out of hand. Bad result at Preston and I feel that will be it for him.

Edwards Fed Up With Soft Goals
at 09:02:57

Edwards still has a long way to go to win a large majority of the fans over, myself included, especially after recent comments about the fans.
His form has generally improved from last seasons poor showing, however, he still remains inconsistent for a player Keane spent alarge amount of money on. You could also urgue Grant Leadbitter has yet to find any consistent form this season, and for me personally has been a disappointment so far.
As two of the experienced players in the squad, I'd expect alot more from both Carlos and Grant, and players that should be seen as sources of inspiration to the younger players in the squad.

Town Make Move for Plymouth Striker
at 12:20:47

I nearly spat my coffee out when I read this! Agree we need a striker, but I hoped it would be someone exciting like Jay Emanual-Thomas! But I guess Wenger isn't going to send one of his kids to Keane!
So the scum can attract Henri Lansbury, we get a league one striker who can't score....if it's true of course....

Wickham Will Make England U21 Debut
at 15:29:47

Personally I'm rather surprised by this call-up, but this will hopefully give him a much needed boast in confidence that he obviously needs.
Experience at this level is invaluable, and this can only help improve Connor's development.
I don't buy into the reason he's been called up is to turn his head conspiracy theories, Pearce has seen his ability and that's the only reason why he"s been called up! Don't get too paranoid!
All the very best Connor, I'll be watching on!
