Norwich Preparing Well for the Playoffs?
at 20:12 8 May 2024

They’re also struggling to sell their tickets for the first leg of the play offs. Apparently it’s because of their ‘negative’ display at Brum

Interesting comment from Aaron Paul on 5live this morning...
at 09:07 30 Apr 2024

He was almost affronted at the question that McKenna might be prised away from Ipswich (saying he was very happy and fully backed)

It also transpired that Rachel Burden’s husband/partner is a Town fan!

PLC Share Dividends
at 14:29 29 Apr 2024

I bought shares at the time to help out my club.

I’m prepared to forego any dividend, so long as :

(1) I can vote against the gradual march to a European Superleague

(2) I can vote to reinstate FA Cup replays

(3) Have the chance to run on the pitch if we get promoted

If we get promotion, he is going to implode. What a bitter and twisted old hack….

That was a comment that came out of Wycombe. Ainsworth trying to create some kind of siege mentality against a ‘bigger club’

Collymore with an excellent rant about the FA Cup
at 12:37 20 Apr 2024

The FA are getting the blame for this, but it is not the FA who continually allow more English clubs into European competitions each season. We came second in 1981 with a nucleus of 14 players in a league of 21. Players and managers in the ‘Elite’ Premierships sides are complaining about too many games, but the only reason for this is the expansion of the European leagues which are no longer knock out tournaments, but mini leagues. We are sleepwalking into a European Superleague.

Hopefully on fairly soon second half. Tuanzebe could easily have got a second yellow

My son and I met the team on the pitch after that game and believe that it was my brief pep talk to each of them that made all the difference. Either that or the fact that Sam was fired up to a different level from that night until the end of the season….

Stansfield/Moore
at 10:29 1 Feb 2024

If indeed we were in for Stansfield earlier in Jan, now that we have got Al-Hamidi, I don’t see why we would be interested in Moore. He is a completely different player and we would then potentially end up with Hirst, Al-Hamidi and Moore in the summer

Drunk idiot. Mind you, 10ft to the right and he would have fallen down the stairs into the underpass with much worse injuries

Kieffer Moore update

The stats probably won’t bear me out on this, but Moore is a typical January transfer window signing. I’m sure he would do a job, but I whoever gets him will end up paying over the odds

My comment was tongue in cheek. They’re all raving about it on ITV and it wasn’t a patch on Wes’ goal from start to finish. I just had visions of all Spurs’ international ‘superstars’ trying to do a ‘Burns’ in training…

Talking some sense at last in the Pinkun about their display against Southampton…

“I saw similar at Ipswich. We can talk about 14 years unbeaten. But had Jon Rowe not been absolutely ruthless, they would have been beaten comfortably and should have been. They are not reliant on patterns of play but on moments. We have to see a plan and a clear way forward“
