I had the pleasure of watching this one and sitting 3 rows back from king nick
Great result - I thought we played very well - Fulham had a load of possession in the first
Half but did nothing with it - great goals by murph - and a solid performance by all those in the mid
Awful mistake by smith (again) but never really in doubt and should have scored another
Was great listening to mick scream and shout on the touch line - didn't shut up the entire game
And every other word is f@&£
The support from the Ipswich boys was

I've been calling for jewels head for some time - well to the west ham and gooner supporters in billericay that care to listen - and my wife is utterly bored of it now as I scream out every morning - please Paul just go now - I thinks she harbours suspicions that I am in the closet.
Alas the time has come - it is obvious that master jewell is a thoroughly decent geezer - the type of cheeky scouser that you would quite like to share a pint with - and exchange escort stories with (and not the 1980 ford motor vehicle kind....... I fell a plug for punter net coming on)- but do we really want him running our great club ?
At best his training methods and starting selection - formation, seem dated at worst he is simply out of his depth and living in a way more modern era than he is capable of operating within.
We have heard many excuses over the last couple of years - from making mistakes and employing too many dated loanees other 2010 and 2011 season to changing tact completely and employing too many youngsters to try to appease the fans - and then again going full circle to signing too many dated loanees in the 2011 and 2012 season - he neither has an expedition able plan nor any courage in his many changing convictions.
I do not pretend to have any idea who we should bring in to replace - I like the sentiment of an old boy - but then look at Kenny and Keagan - on the other hand you could have a young hungry manager - but then for everyone that succeeds you have an nice - or better still let's get a seasoned fella in - hang on errikson and Biddle were a disaster - ok so this proves I have no idea what I am talking about - BUT - I do know its time for change - I operate in an industry whe if I don't perform - I simply lose my job - no compensation - I just go - I would like to think that despite Paul's best efforts he would appreciate the support he has had from both chairman and fans and do the honourable thing and leave - without taking any more from this great institution.

You should feel very pleased with yourself that you have a job that allows you to go to all of the games (but probably doesn't pay very much). A life that affords you to go to every game (which must be very lonely) and a misguided sense of grandeur to believe that this actually makes you a more superior being than the rest of us.

this forum makes me laugh. "Where were the real supporters at WMA and Northampton" ... do me a favour - so many people on this site have a misplaced sense of self importance. What makes a true supporter exactly?? - someone that goes to all of the games - because either they have no family, real job, family - and take their anger out on the players by booing and getting on there case at the slightest mistake or a supporter that gets to the games that they can, and fully gets behind the team when they do go? I for one don't live in Ipswich - and I am unlikely to make a 2 hour round trip + 90 min game every other weekend to watch Ipswich get beaten by Preston NE whilst being subjected to listening to such a negative, un-educated bunch of supporters.
The problem with this club runs much deeper than the players and the ex manager - the so called "fans" should take some responsibility themselves - and until they do - and get a grip - I will happily follow the team from a far. Tomorrow I will be watching the game from the comfort of my sofa - and will probably get a more educated well rounded opinion about football from my wife. |

i read this site daily, generally to see what idiotic comments are posted by supposed Ipswich fans, but rarely to I feel compelled to add my own idiotic comment - until readin Callums post. What Utter drivel - we are 11 games into the season and apparantly we are in a relegation dog fight, and with kleane at the helm WILL GO DOWN. We all know the season hasnt exactly gone to plan -but 3 of the last 4 games have seen us concede in the last minute - withour those we would have gained 7 extra points - wishful thinking I know. I'm assuming your the same idiotic supporter that kept calling for Jims head as well,now we have a manager capable of taking the team forward, with time, you still are not happy. Uneducated and negative posts like this make me wish i could change alegiance - as i really do not want to be tarred with the same stupid brush...... Why don't you sign up and support spurs - as they seem to be the only fans who have a more idiotic take on football than you - go on make yourself feel clever! |
