Poor formation, poor selection and poor substitutions. Dozzell is hopeless. For the sake of the team he cannot start games. Also must ditch three at the back.
No need to take kids to North stand lower. Only got our season tickets there when my son turned 16. If you buy a ticket there you do so knowing everyone stands and the language may be colourful.
Great play leading to the red card. Seemed to be the only one trying to make something happen in the second half. Apart from Skuse maybe who tried to drive forward. Nolan should have gone off not ward. Agree the corners were poor but that is down to what is practiced on training ground.
First half performance was awful. Far worse than anything I saw under McCarthy but the system just didn't work so I feel a bit sorry for Spence who is now getting slated. Yes he was poor but they all were and system suited Brentford not us. Wing backs become ineffective if cannot get forward. At half time we knew he needed to change the shape and thankfully he did. Edwards and Nolan benefited from that as looks like it was them specifically that made a difference but in truth was just the change of system. We needed to be a lot better second half and thankfully we were and at least gave some encouragement for the way home. Must play like that on Saturday and desperately need that first win.
So we know our squad until at least January so let's get behind them all. Initially surprised at some of the loans out but I think it makes sense for these young players to be playing regularly at a competitive level. Even woolfenden. Unlikely to get much game time so does make sense.
Thought exactly the same. Galvanised the players and fans and after today's game I went home today feeling like this is now hurst's team and that the new era has now truly started.
I agree. My original post is just to those saying be patient and the team need time to gel. Even Hurst in his post match interview doesn't accept that. Reality is we will struggle based on performances so far and we need to pick up points sooner rather than later. So we can't afford to wait too long. We need to get better and quickly. However as said before it is not about booing players either. We need to support the team and Hurst no matter what. Hopefully it will start to improve but needs to be quick.
Only saw the goal once whilst in the pub but was he at fault again for the goal? Looked like it to me but like I said only seen it once. He hasn't looked so solid this year albeit after only 3 games.
