Will Marcus Evans have shed a tear? I doubt it, I reckon he checked his wallet and got on his yacht... what a ****

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report

I appreciate that this result and our start to the season is hard to take, but negativity and ridiculous comments are completely counter productive. The performances haven't been bad, we've had no luck and some shocking referees (today's red card maybe one of the worst decisions I've seen in a while).
Crystal Palace lost their first 8 or so games of the season and ended up mid table, we almost definitely had periods like this under mick and yet we were always safe. 41 games left!
We need everyone to get down to Portman road on Sunday and support the hell out of the team, they need to know that we are still behind them!

Saw a report saying it could be 3m plus two players... would breakdown in tears if one of them was Chris Martin

Derby in "Advanced Talks" for Waghorn

Seems strange that Derby would even need Waghorn given that they've already been heavily linked with Marriott already brought in Wilson and Mount on loan, and the other good attacking options they already have.

Town Have Won Harrison Chase
at 12:44:58

Very happy with this, he's at a good age and looks like he can score left foot right foot, long range close in and has an aerial presence as well.
Personally, based on pre season and the fact that Shrewsbury only had one player who scored more than 10 goals in the league last season (Stefan Payne 11 goals), I don't imagine he will bag goals for fun, and if we are to push for Play offs, I think it's vital we keep Waghorn for the chances he creates, goals and not to forget his set piece ability.

I'm happy with this lower league transfer policy, provided that these signings are adding to the existing squad rather than replacing the likes of Waggy.
