Actually midas he played for us in 1999-2000 and was even present at the Playoff Final for the celebrations. He played mainly as a midfielder during the season and was our number 7. He was released in 2000, and he nearly signed a contract with Norwich but they made him wait an extra week so he signed for Colchester instead where he played well over 100 games, winning their player of the year award in 2001. I agree it would have been nice to have kept him on, allowing for a few cameos over the subsequent seasons but we had bigger plans, such as going into Administration. |

"Brown spent a month on loan at Vanarama National League South Chelmsford City in the autumn, where he made four appearances without scoring" Sounds like a perfect Ipswich player these days, sign him up Mick! |

Excellent from Mick. The above complaining supporters would rather we passed the ball around with big money signings and ended up in League One and the eventual financial death of the club. If you don't like it please feel free not to attend games so we can improve the atmosphere at PR. On top of that if you could refrain from posting online or calling into the radio even better. Those of us living in reality can enjoy our eventual promotion and you can cry into your keyboards. |

Anderson was top of the clubs Assists chart for the 2014/15 season. Amazing another Champ side didn't pick him up, and the fact Henshall and Stewart are still here while hes not, having contributed nothing. |

I personally wouldn't be overly excited for a midfielder that's 30, played over 100 games at this level and only scored 10 goals but in Mick we trust! We have needed a real goalscoring midfielder for years now mind so thats nothing new. |

Loan first I would say - a lot of these ex-United, Arsenal and City kids don't cut it in the Champ. Just look at Vaselli, Tunnicliffe, Henshall and further back JET. It's a different game down here to playing reserve football for a super club. We have signed more useful players from Colchester than we have Arsenal! |
