Edwards Pleads Guilty

Everyone talks about he was doing it for his wife etc... Does anyone know what he was doing at the time he was stopped, as as far as I can recall at no time has Edwards even said he was on the way to hospital or similar, surely he would have done if this was the case.

Sounds to me of someone trying to make it look better and give himself an excuse.

Keane: Poor Decision-Making Let Us Down

Poor decision making...... Correct! Down to 10 men and you bring on Colin Healy, the man known for his pace to help attack and to enable him to help get back to defend. Then change from 4-4-1 to 3-4-2 and back to 4-4-1 and change the defence 4 times against good forwards does not help!!!!! Only person with credit today in my opinion was Priskin, who again worked hard, showed neat touches, movement and fight in the right way. Sorry to say it but time for fresh ideas and manager.

Walters Set for Stoke Switch

I have been reading all these comments about how Walters hates Keane etc and that is why he has asked to leave, where has this come from? A friend of a friend etc.... His wife has not settled since she fell pregnant with there second child, they had more than their fair share of probs with their first, and has been stating she wants to go back near her parents. Walters asked under Magilton to go back to his family, remember when he was told to get his head right. It seems to me that he has not played that well since as he is a family man and wants to be where his family is happiest. Seems to me Keane has seen that and is trying to do good business for the club and for Walters. Not the actions a deranged loony as lots of you are posting.

Also with your very opinionated views I take it you are a retired ex pro as you seem to know so much. I know this is all about opnion but yours seems so far off the mark, have you actually been to any games or even played the game yourself?

Walters a Doubt for Plymouth Trip

I have been reading these forums for a long time without adding anything, but thought I would now. It is interesting peoples views on Walters being replaced by a natural goalscorer. Yes we need someone who can put the ball in the net, but what Walters brings to the team is hard to replace. His running and movement creates the space for others and his link up play is second to none in the club, IMO, (Heskey does not score but is in the England Team!)
I actually think he will be a loss but Wickham not being available may be a blessing in disguise. Yes he could be one of the best players to come out of Ipswich, But as it showed on Tuesday night his first touch and hold up play are not there yet. When Pabs went off and he came on we came under more pressure as the ball was not being held up. Were our main chances after is introduction mainly breaks?
