Before everyone jumps off the deep end with negative stories, I remember when we signed McGoldrick that my Forest mate couldn't stop laughing as he'd hardly scored a goal there and was nicknamed McGoaldrought. Not laughing now is he? He was also very critical when we signed Chambers. Nice to see us doing our business early and hopefully a good signing. Maybe MIngs will go out on loan as he will be frustrated by this but MM clearly doesn't think he's ready. I wonder who will be next - central midfield creator, right back and striker?

Just speculation about the Newcastle lads. Sounds like the Parr situation is more likely and agree with others that we spend the money on an AM and poss a striker. MM obviously isn't convinced with Mings, much like the Hewitt situation. |

Tractorfact - that's interesting about Henderson. MM was definitely a big fan of 'hendo' when he was on loan but i can't say he was hugely impressive. Would prefer him to Bialkowski though i guess. And we so need a creative midfielder don't we? |

I've no problem with him showing faith in players, but why won't he show faith in Loach? Seems like every time Loach makes a mistake he put someone else in - anyone else for that matter. I've got no ax to grind with Gerken but it feels like Loach has the potential to be a much better keeper |

He has been very impressive since arriving and a big factor in our recent form. He seems to enjoy life here too so we'd be daft not to try and sing him - especially as he'll get better as his match fitness improves
