I cannot see the comparison between this transfer window and the Hurst transfer window.
Hurst was in the Championship, Championship players moved on and they were replaced with L1 & L2 players, and that's where we ended up.
We are now in L1 replacing our L1 / L2 players with Championship players... and that's where we will end up. |

I had a quick word with Teddy yesterday at the airport on the way home from Dortmund, he was very down beat (it was also his birthday). He's hoping it wasn't too bad and he'll be ok soon.
He was on crutches with the lads giving him a hand to get through the airport. |

Was it right to get rid of our best seasoned Championship players, that's a big NO.

If he refuses to stay, what can the club do? It's hard to turn down £3m even if he is worth more.
He's 31, and about to sign the last decent contract of his playing career. If he's going to get 2, 3, 4 times more elsewhere, then it's a no brainer for him.
