It is fantastic that our fan base is so energised by our recent successes.
Can we please also remember, with zero bitterness, that many supporters have turned their backs on the team over recent years.
Some of us have experienced every dreadful moment of the Keane, three Pauls and McCarthy eras. In wasn’t long ago I was in crowds of circa 12k.
I’m am not hating on anyone. We all have different life pressures and family situations.
All I am asking is that those singing ‘Ipswich till I die…’ tomorrow, actually mean it. We do need to acknowledge that for some it has been Ipswich till we stop winning…’.
Utterly abysmal coverage. ‘You don’t have to touch the ball to be offside’. So basic it’s painful to watch. Where do they get these people? Mindless simpletons.
Suffolk Energy Action Solutions (SEAS), founded in August 2019, is a community group set up to campaign against the severe adverse impacts of the National Grid and Governments ill-conceived plans of making Friston and Suffolk Coastal into an Energy Hub. SEAS is in favour of offshore wind energy but against the current proposals for the delivery of that wind power to the grid which will have a devastating impact on a unique onshore environment, social health and wellbeing, the local tourist economy and coastal communities.
Here is the journalist's email, if anyone else shares my irritation. Is isn't fair to use a photograph of our joyous (and very peaceful) celebrations at the end of last season, to communicate a Police warning about potential misbehaviour by fans of both teams. This is not on and must not be allowed to pass without comment.
I obviously don't need to say this, but lets make sure that any/all communications are respectful. The journalist might not have been responsible for the choice of photo. Thanks.
Sky might as well have used a chatbot to generate a series on pointless, inane cliches. Both commentators have detracted from what has been an interesting and entertaining game.
I am a season ticket and am trying to buy an extra ticket for Shrewsbury. When I add it to my basket, it is still showing as £27. I can’t work out what I am doing wrong. I am logged in to my profile. Any pointers would be appreciated. The Ticket Office doesn’t open until 10am.
The thing that shone through for me was how serious, professional and focused he Is. It is very easy to be liked, but much harder to be respected. He hasn’t trying to curry favour by being a court jester (see Cook for details). Zero BS from KM. I like it.
My guess/hope is that Ashton has undertaken due diligence. I don’t think McKenna will be a soft touch. The Northern Irish tend to be more than happy to meet force with force when necessary. It’s in their blood. Think Lennon, Magilton, O’Neill etc. Anyway, these habitual under-achievers at Town have not earned the right to try to undermine any manager, they are a group of bottom-feeders that need support and high quality coaching. He has certainly got his work cut out getting a tune out of some of Cook’s detritus.
Completely agree. The fact that Warnock is close to retirement and would/should have a very clear mandate of stabilising the ship and getting us up the league, is in my book an advantage of appointing him. It gives us the ability to extend our search for a longer-term replacement while (hopefully) making the job more desirable because of he has countered our latent ability to compete.
