| News Comment | Gills Sack Manager Evans Following Defeat to Town at 17:01:58
During yesterday's chant of 'You're getting sacked in the morning'" I thought it funny to sing "Your getting salad in the morning". I still find it funny. Never nice to see someone sacked but happy to make exception in his case. |
| News Comment | Wycombe Wanderers 1-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 15:39:59
After watching us play Wycombe home and away last season and witnessing their keeper wasting time from the first minute of both games I hugely enjoyed the Wycombe fans losing it when Walton took his time when we were 3-1 up 😂 |

| News Comment | Judge: I Totally Dispute What Has Been Said By the Referee at 11:06:35
Ref was always going to try and justify his actions and it was in his interests to make what Judge said as bad as it could be. If there is a recording and ref is found to have been lying then ban him for rest of the season. Can understand club/Judge just wanted to move on but I believe ref has dug a bigger hole for himself |
| News Comment | Two Up Top For Blues at Posh at 18:41:01
Welcome two up from but dropping the two young full backs can't be right as they were the difference on Saturday - it's a team picked not to lose rather than win. I hope I'm wrong but...... |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-0 Lincoln City - Match Report at 22:25:39
Light years away from the MM and huff and puff football that made my 240 mile round journey so painful. Slick passing, settled team (now) and youngsters that you can identify with and feel proud of. What's not to like !! |
| News Comment | Wycombe Wanderers 1-1 Ipswich Town- Match Report at 18:25:33
Best I've seen us play for a while - controlled passing and keeping it on the floor. We will win more matches than we lose playing like this. Garbutt class and Downes outstanding -keep the faith. |
| Blog Comment | John O’Rourke – Unsung Hero at 22:17:24
He was my first goal scoring hero. Visited the training ground before first season back in Div 1 and had got every player’s autograph except John O’Rourke’s. Billy Baxter saw our long faces and asked what was wrong. When we told him he walked right across the training pitch, got O’Rourke to sign and then walked all the way back with a cherry ‘There you go lads’ |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Got Caught Up With the Emotion of the Game at 12:14:38
Drinking the 120 miles home gives you time to think ! Hate losing but .... 1) First half saw the young talent coming through and couple of moves had fans out of their seats. So much better than the MM huff and puff. 2) Can see how PL wants to play but team not good enough to do It all the time. When we came under pressure start of second half should have adapted and used long ball to force Millwall back - then get back to paying football 3) We are down and pre season starts now 4) Dozzell is pure class - very touch he had was spot on and he can play the killer through ball - fear MM will cash in to pay for PH cock up For |
| Blog Comment | What Would Eric Gates Say? at 21:36:46
1967 aged 11 my Dad took me to my first match. Although a lifelong Gooner he decided to turn left when we left to Portman Rd rather than right to Highbury. Even though game was a horrible 0-0 draw against Preston ( manger Billy McGarry wanted to offer fans their money back ) I have never regretted his decision or considered, like almost all of my school mates becoming a plastic Manc or Spurs fan. Your team is for life not for Christams. If ever a conversation starts with 'I used to support ...." I walk away. |
| News Comment | Holland: Horrible Situation at Portman Road at 21:00:55
I never thought our great club would even consider sacking a manager after just 3/4 months but....... Something isn't right and something has to change |
| Blog Comment | The Long Haul at 13:12:42
Really excellent blog and totally agree that this season is about building for the future. Looking forward again to a 240 mile round trip to Portman Road for excitement and entertainment. MM hoof ball took all the enjoyment away. You should send it to Alan Brazil (legend) who spouted rubbish about us selling all our young and established players this morning !! |
