I feel sorry for everyone who's a fan. I was so lucky to see town in the top levels many times. I remember Mr Sheepshanks meeting fans in the pub before the games, I remember when I worked at the old community trust how proud everyone was working at town.
If it is due (as reported) by the Telegraph that Marcus hasn't put money in but OWED it from company. This is not a good thing. He is just using the club as an asset which he uses to promote his own company. Anyone who wants to buy the club would have pain off the debt to his company, ensuring he does not loose out.
Not just fans have well and truly been shafted but most of the employees too.
We have an owner who doesn't care. It's clear. No voice no response!
I am worried for the future of the club. We need some one who loves the club and the believe and resource to make the club good again. |

I think a swap with Bruce any day would have to be better. I wanted Paul to do well but when you get rid of your good players and buy in unknowns there not all going to be a find like Vardy!
But what really pees me off is the youth not being used. They are quality and better than some of players we got in. And don't get me stated about one up front!!! |

I think it is becoming very clear that Hurst is the puppet and M.E. Is pulling the strings - he is involved with player transfers et al. The reason the youth are not playing, been sent away is because if they played they would show up the ‘quality?' Players we have got on loan.
There was no need to make changes in the game as the players were in the second half pushing and attacking, when the changes were made the game changed.
I don't blame the players - they seems as confused as the supporters it's not there fault, I think they are trying the best they can to their ability.
But it is a mess there is no logic to anything anymore. My heart says stay but my wallet says no! |

I just don't understand how a manager at home plays one up front especially when the other team is rubbish and only ten players.
Then in second half when the players are attacking and look like creating something makes changes it.
It's a joke.
It was also sad seeing fans after the game facing up to each other arguing about the game.

I have been a life long supporter, had a season ticket since 92. Supported them in the highs and lows. But the last ten years have been poor, but every year I have tried to justified it to renew. My daughter and my son went until my daughter said ‘I'm bored' my son kept going for a couple of years but it was like trying to drag him out. So he goes no more. When children with their innocent eyes can see that it's wrong and boring why the hell can't the owner!
The owner must be laughing because he really hasn't spent any money on players this season - the players that have come in don't add up to 5/6 million which we got for Waggy. And selling him to another Championship team is mad!
We got waggie in because we needed a good striker. So this season sell all good players put the young ones on loan so not to show up the cheep players we got in!!!
The owner has ripped out the soul of Ipswich Town Football Club. I sit in the stands the ground looks familiar and the outstanding fans but that's it. It is soulless and empty.

I was really excited about this season, until we got rid of our strikers.
Been a supporter for 50 years and thirty plus years been a season ticket holder.
I finding really hard watching - If Town play well and still loose okay no problem
But what I can't stand is when we loose and no effort but in.
Yeah the team has potential - but we haven't got strikers who get stuck in - we just sold them.
The club needs to make money and when you get money for players who are around their 30s fair enough but you need to replace them with the same quality. It's Murphy situation all over again!
I suppose the plus side is more time at the bar. |
